Has anybody used these ? Yes used before and was under 4USD from BKK1. But that was when th...

I use a repair shop on street 422, close to PSD Xpress bus stop. Very good work everytime on washing machines (old and new), Fridge and freezer. Highly recommended, $5-$10 a repair depending on what the problem is. Do you bring the machine there or do they come out to your house? Bless Well we live...

Re: Special K Visa and Citizenship

Re: "local" credit cards
I applied and got issued an AEON Gold Visa Credit card and I have a pending application in ANZ. These are real credit cards where the bank issues a certain amount of credit line, not like debit cards or the ones offered by ABA where you need to place a security deposit. Can expats apply for this? w...

Re: Driving licences for cars
I thought I'd tell people of my experiences obtaining my Cambodian 10 year licence. I "lost" my UK licence and couldn't order a new one online, called them up "Computer says no sir. Sorry we can't give that info out, you'll have to go to your local DVLA (UK)/office sir" etc, so I paid and took the ...

Re: ATM fees
I don't get why people are still recommending banks that charge $4 and $6, when several people have already pointed out that Maybank is the only bank in PP that has no charges at all. This applies to MasterCard, Visa and ordinary debit cards. You can also withdraw at least $2000 one time if you lik...
