Re: transfer to Wise virtual accounts
According to the link I provided for opening an account from Cambodia: "Like any other online service, opening an account and acquiring the Prepaid Mastercard through Wise is a process carried out online; no paperwork required. It only requires the client to upload an ID (Passport or Identity Docume...

Re: transfer to Wise virtual accounts
The recommended method per Wise (impractical in these days I'd have thought) is * The recipient in Cambodia opens a Wise account using standard Wise methods of verification * Once open, ask Wise to post one of their Debit Mastercard to the recipient in Cambodia * Someone external to Cambodia deposit...

Pico-scar acne treatment

Re: transfer to Wise virtual accounts
I have USD, AUD and GBP virtual accounts with Wise and have had no problem using any of them. The Bank of England deposited into my UK virtual account when I sent them off a UK ten pound note which is no longer legal tender but they will replace on demand. I've had friends wire me to my USD account ...

Re: Cambodia opening to tourists when?
Anyway, the R0 is highly determined by the measures in place. Unless you include vaccinations in your definition of 'measures', that's not very accurate. Cases kept going up during Australia's strict lockdowns and seemed to fall - or plateau - after its reopening. Covid has a mind of its own. If yo...

Re: Cambodia opening to tourists when?
A friend in Bangkok has decided he wants to try living in Cambodia for a year as a retiree. Has anyone recent experience of the Cambodian Embassy in Bangkok issuing "E" visas for potential retirees? If not, should he just fly to Siem Reap or Phnom Penh and try for an E visa on arrival at the airport?

Re: ER Visa and Cambodian income taxes
stay over 180 days/year in the country, libel for tax, something even Thailand does not do to those of us on retirement extensions. That is because of one or more provisions of the Thai tax code and its treaties. Thailand does not tax the offshore income of a Thai resident unless it is repatriated ...

Re: Cambodia visa fee increases announced
Is there a minimum period I have to be in Cambodia before I apply for an extension. I'll be in and out o the kingdom 3 or 4 times in my first couple of months. If I arrive on an 'E' (ordinary) visa can I immediately apply for a 12-month extension, or do I have to wait until the end of the 30-day per...
