Re: Looking for KIM HUY in Sihanoukville
A very reliable source of mine has known the man being vilified for many years. He is 100% sure that this guy is not responsible for any of these threats/ slanders etc. From what I can gather this whole affair is pretty much what is termed "black propaganda." Has your "very reliable source" contact...

Re: Russian Gleb Kasyanov Kills Cambodian Girl in Car Accident
Whatever way it happened the Russian has to be ultimately at fault and is responsible for the girl's death. No doubt he'll evade justice by paying off the parties involved. I must admit I'm biased against motor vehicles being a cyclist. I dislike intensely the self entitled mentality of motorists re...

Re: Russian Gleb Kasyanov Kills Cambodian Girl in Car Accident
Isn't the most likely scenario is that the Russian was impatient, was overtaking something larger and swerved to the left into when confronted with an oncoming vehicle?
I thought most Russians used dashcams. Could the driver have hidden the damming evidence?

Re: Death
Americans seem to have some bizarre funeral rites. My 83 year old mother died suddenly late last year. We didn't have a funeral as such, as we just hired a local restaurant along with a celebrant MC and invited her many friends for food and drinks. There were eulogies of sorts, but that was it. Our ...

Re: Foreigner Throws Girlfriend out of Tuk-tuk
He sounds American at the 5:43 mark. I see he is wearing camouflage shorts and appears to have more camouflage clothes on the desk. Is he the Eric Erdmann lookalike we've heard so much about? Camouflage clothing is such a red flag. Even more so when combined with a black tee shirt. Not sure if she ...

Re: Japan - bunch of grapes sell for $11000
I paid 40 baht ($1.25) for a really big pineapple in Issan yesterday, That seems the going rate everywhere I've been. So sweet and juicy, despite being green, and it does wonders for my bowels. A pineapple a day keeps the enema away.

Re: PP:Barang teacher found on St182, wearing shirt, socks and shoes, but no trousers or underwear
So we are still no closer to knowing if the guy is ok and just had a big night, or if he needs help?... Edit to say that the banter is hardly making it worse. His students are aware, so no doubt his employer is too. Nothing we can do about that. Those that have met him hardly sing his praises. Mayb...

^^ Yes, I know. I saw that post (and the previous one challenging JL to a fight...!). I'm not disputing what you have said. Did i miss something? I don't believe so, but I had some posts deleted where I exercised my right to be Australian and utter profanities. I also challenged you to banter at 10...

Guilty. I don't know Carl. I have no knowledge of the incident. I was trying to save the poor guy some face rather than see him crucified.gavinmac wrote:Sorrynothingpersonal often offers bold statements suggesting he has personal knowledge of events, when in fact he does not.

Re:
It's not the behaviour itself that will result in tougher visa regs, but busy bodies gossiping incessantly about minor incidents that really ought to be forgotten, and would have been just a few years ago before the age of smart phones. This is 440 at its worst. Some K440er's in their deluded top b...

I believe that Jackal thinks Carl was a bit of a "soft cock", as opposed to a wannabe tough guy.LexusSchmexus wrote:Am I the only one completely baffled by this expression? What the hell does it mean?Jackal wrote:He usually dresses like a cut finger at work, butter wouldn't melt. . .

Who edited my earlier post?
I'll repeat it politely without any profanities. My apologies for my previous lack of decorum.
Carl had an unfortunate misadventure with thieves after getting his drink spiked and anybody who says otherwise is a libellous scoundrel.
Happy?
