Re: What tunes are you listening to tonight?
The Whitney part was an indication the post was not to be taken seriously. There's nothing not to be taken seriously says the people w no sense of humour. Honestly now, tell me you don't like ABBA, not even as a guilty pleasure? Can you keep a straight face, instagramming it? Best Whithey ever, (wr...

"I like all music"kinard wrote:Music is a universal language. I like all music, even Whitney sometimes.
No, You don't. Nobody does.
I'll probably never get why so many people believe it when they say that, no offence.

Re: What tunes are you listening to tonight?
"a mood altering, transformative space that for the most part connects me to the memories of my life" just wanted to laud you for that because i think you scratched on something essential there. Interconnection, Synaesthetics as description of a condition could perhaps profit from a lil broadening, ...

Here's a song 7zKAS7XOWaQ Interesting vid, thx Abou. Ian says "from our newest album, machine head", but obviously they hadn't practised it nearly enough yet to play it live, MAJOR blunders. I LOVE Jon Lord's intro though... he's in his own world.. CRAP: I meant the song LAZY, same session, clickab...

Re: What tunes are you listening to tonight?
I really like this thread. The obvious first: What you listen to in general, says a lot about you. But what? The field of misinterpretation is a wide open one. What interests, has always tremendously interested me, is, why there's music (as a means of communication, hope we can agree on that), at al...

I'd wager in Westworld anyone would.
That, and/or "killing" some of em while you're at it.
Why else, according to the 1973 original movie would you spend a thousand $ per day?

http://cspo.org.kh/ they're doing great work, free for cambodian amputees. it's like an uni school for prosthetics & orthotics. I'm very picky about whom i support, whom i believe in, (médecins sans frontières for ex). Or cspo. On their donation site you can specify where exactly you want your money...

Janis Joplin once was elected ugliest guy on campus. Ouch! must have hurt & that's no BS, i saw her saying that in an interview. Or it is, but her own brew. Which brings me to Slade JzgNFIrYo3Y Another great track off that album: zhYVFuUdN5M Excerpt: I don't mind, if there's a change in me I'm unkin...

Some people are born & handed the asspipe right away. Cássia Eller was one of them. Wikipedia doesn't tell you half the story. Died at 39 after multiple heart attacks. Ted Demme, another member of that club died while playing basket ball. I enjoyed his movie Blow (Prolly hafta ask Alanis whether tha...
