Advice re starting a business in Siam Reap
A friend of mine has a business in Thailand that has strong local government, council and population support in the regions where he operates. He is thinking of opening a similar business in Siam Reap but is wary, especially with regard to the police who seem to take a "special interest" in foreigne...

Re: MacBook Pro Repairs
I tried Uni Young but they said they don't repair faulty parts (the logic board ?? in my case) but only replace same as the Apple repair centre. Cana Computers are not an Apple repair centre as far as I'm aware but they were helpful. They looked at it and said the board was US but not specifically w...

MacBook Pro Repairs
I have a mid 2014 MacBook Pro laptop that won't turn on. I took it to the Apple repair centre and was told I would be contacted after three days when it had been cleaned and assessed. They called me back the next day and told me it wouldn't turn on because the logic board was US but couldn't explain...

Home Electricity Circuit
I've reposted this topic from the Q&A forum (thank you MD for your earlier reply) to this one as it is probably more applicable here. Hopefully someone can provide an answer for me. A question for the electricians out there. I am not a licensed electrician myself but have a good working knowledge of...

Home Electricity Circuit Question
A question for the electricians out there. I am not a licensed electrician myself but have a good working knowledge of electronics from previous experience and study but this one has me stumped. I want to connect a 2 wire light fitting to replace an old one. The light's neutral wire is correctly con...

Chemical / Paint / Product for Rusted Rheo Steel in Buidings
I want to get a rust converter / treatment product that can be used to treat / neutralise and seal rusted rheo steel in concrete walls, etc. There is a Sika product called Monotop 610 that seems good but you need to remove the rust from the rheo first before applying it and that's impractable. There...

Fluorouracil Cream - Prices and Where to Get
I'm looking for pharmacies in PP that stock Fluorouracil Cream 5% - it's used for skin cancers, solar keratosis, etc. I've only been able to find two so far that stock it and the price at both for a 20 gram tube was $50. Brand names that it goes by include Efudex, Carac and Fluoroplex. Gerneric name...

Re: Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin
Other than those already mentioned does anyone have any updated info re experienced and trained doctors who can remove SCC's in Phnom Penh? Raffles Clinic and Royal PP Hospital seem to be around the $300 - $400 mark which I think is a bit on the high side. I obviously want to get the job done right ...

Re: Qualified and Trained Doctors?
Thanks everyone for your input. The business is on street level - you walk straight into the treatment area from the street and it is very open to public view. The doors are fully open during the day and my front balcony is right opposite the premises. If I'm sitting on the balcony I'm looking strai...

Qualified and Trained Doctors?
I’ll preface the following by stating that I am not a doctor although I do have quite a bit of first-aid related training from my time in the services when I was younger. I need some advice about medical procedures in Phnom Penh from those who have been here for a while, especially anyone with medic...

Re: Share my experience with OpenNet
Thank you for the feedback. I was thinking of moving to OpenNet following absolutely terrible service (AKA) non-service with Digi. The list of issues with them is too long to go into but they cover all the ones raised on this topic plus more. By the way forget about compensation if there are problem...
