Re: Would you take the wife or the girlfriend to a bar or pontoon ?
The Pontoon is an fine establishment with extremely friendly patrons,I personally wouldnt hesitate to take the significant other. I was once invited by a seemingly prominent much-liked dude to go there really late, when things get sloppy. When *he* was there, no one touched us. It was cool. Seeming...

Re: Why is street 172 so dead?
Had a few good later nights here but depends on what you like. Play Phen across the road from Blue Dolphin is ok to sit outside and have a beer as the food places close and the crowd dwindles.
After that it is the girlie bars or another Street.

Re: A silly question about motorbikes
Baja 135 - yes I agree - good bike. If you are not naturally competent on gear changes do not try and learn in PP/Cambodia. You need to concentrate on the traffic, not your gears. Tip with the anything over 125 - get it badged as 125 or 110. Plenty of places will do this. Why? Police wont be quite s...

Re: Lost and Found Frogs
My comment was firmly tongue-in-cheek. The guide has to be pretty useless, the path leading up to the Lingas is 5 meters wide and will trodden; a blind person should be able to find it.[/quote] Mind you that very path "Lingas" is known to be quite cunning - just whilst you are "firmly tongue in chee...

Re: Rats in engine bay
You can buy some very effective rat baits out of Thailand - works on cats and kids too though. Also they have a Thai made adhesive plate - about A4 size - you peel off the plastic cover and put the super sticky plate down (say inside an engine bay) - rat walks on - can't get off - yeah I know, but i...

I don't know if the big nosed psuedo lover is dead but I do compliment the post. I think you have a real flare for writing an obituary and I would be chuffed to read this out in a small ceremony around a dumpster with a few mourners (perhaps St 51 ladyboys holding faux flowers). RIP

jings put the mutt to sleep and do it a favour Yep, sad fact of life but true. Sorry pup goodnight. I have an agreement with my friends to end my misery should I reach this point. One guy now follows me around with a metal pipe, both glint, one from polishing and one from anticipation in his eyes. ...

Re: Taking out a girl - where to go?
When you do your nuts for a sweet young thing and forget you are only a wallet on legs, you too will become jaded and untrusting like the rest of us when you discover her other "boyfrien" (s) If like many tourists you confine yourself to sweet young things who work in a bar, you have a very good po...
