Police Officers in Kampot Province Do the peelers always turn credit cards over so you can’t see the number or was it accidentally placed that way? CVV code is 642 - I wouldn’t be surprised if there are photos floating around of the other side. Would be terrible if the scumbag got a big debt ran up...

Re: Cambodians and credit cards
My Canadia bank ATM card expired a few months ago. And the new one does have the Visa logo's on it, suggesting it's a credit card. TBH, I do think, it's a factual debit card with direct debit. I think, Visa provides the cards to Canadia bank, with the corresponding savings for the bank (And the cus...

Re: UN votes against US on Israel
Well done, Cambodia, and the rest of the countries who voted against this nation of nosy and meddling Americans who delude themselves into believing they are the world police. Cambodia and the rest of Asia should move forward and impose their own set of visa sanctions against this shameless country....

Did you miss it? Or do you (like most American politicians) blindly and stubbornly refuse to acknowledge it?Duncan wrote:I'm not as well educated as you,,,, perhaps you could point them out ?
Either way, here it is: STOP INTERFERING IN THE INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF SOVEREIGN NATIONS!

Re: Expat thoughts....
Why can't Americans do what others do? Amongst others, the Japanese and Germans operate NGOs here and none of them have problems. That's because they do not stick their noses in domestic matters that do not concern them. Unlike Americans who always have this unnatural predisposition to nosiness. A h...

Oh the resentment of the can't-affords. This is the time of Asia. Good for this guy, pink or whatever colour! As an Asian myself, seeing all the ungrateful and crude language used here towards the country hosting these foreign guests, visiting aliens, some of whom draw salaries to enable them to buy...

Re: Reports of major change to visa laws imminent
Thanks for the update, PSD_Kiwi, much appreciated! I'm not Japanese, hopefully they'll extend the scheme to other nationalities at some point soon. My current 1-year EOS is still good for quite some time, so I might still manage a seamless transition. Nah, I hope they don't. Too many long noses in ...

Re: More thieving on Virak Bunthem buses
Dear Mr Laurie Collins, You sound like a fucking idiot who shouldn't leave the safety of your own back garden without escort. Your family and friends should have intervened to try to stop you traveling abroad, you are unsuited to the rigours and perils of transiting Asia. Yours Faithfully Mr bipola...

Interesting he said that he handed a case to CPU yet McCabe has never heard of these guys. How can this guy just show up here and be the man? I don't get it. Is this problem as bad as they say? Does anyone even know? Huh?? When were you born? Yesterday? Are you seriously asking if pedophilia is as ...

A more surprising headline would be, 'Today there were no fat drunk foreigners in Sihanoukville' I was in Bayon Market on Russian Blvd around noon yesterday and there was a fat drunk foreigner lurking in every row. Seems unlikely as the foreign customers tend to be mainly professionals working in t...

Re: Important info on Thai visa exempt entries
Why are you all complaining and whining? Thailand is a sovereign state with a vested prerogative to enact and implement their own laws! It's about time that ASEAN countries apply their immigration rules as stringently as western countries apply them towards us Asians. If you are not happy with sub-z...
