Re: What happened at southbridge?
I make too many stupid decisions to call myself smart. Don’t think it’s necessarily that, I was just fortunate to start early.
And there’s no way I’m going back to school now in my 30s.

Ministry of Tourism “extremely disappointed” at Uncle Roger
The govt is mad because a YouTuber has seriously affected Cambodian food tourism by dissing the prestige and identity of Khmer food. The Cambodian government insists that local cuisine is awesome and refers to some cookbooks while demanding that Uncle Roger removes the video and apologizes to the Ca...

Re: Citizenship by Naturalization
Like many other countries, Cambodia also grants its citizenship by naturalization. People can apply for Cambodian citizenship regardless of their birth, descent, and spouse. You will not naturalize as a Cambodian citizen. What the law says and what actually happens is often very different, which I’...

Re: Highly skilled network engineer
That said, I don’t know how it is here but in most countries the point of the medical is mainly so that employer knows what they’re getting and the govt know what level of employment protection is appropriate - ie I don’t think you can “fail” it as such. But this is pure speculation on my part. You...

Re: So what's up with Cambodian weed?
You don’t normally smoke cigarettes, do you? Sore throat, dizziness, headache, an upset stomach… I mean, these are all symptoms of nicotine, aka nic-sickness, besides the sore throat which you’d get if you’re not used to smoking cigarettes. Re: Highly skilled network engineer
At the level that I work few locals would be involved mainly working across multiple AS in bgp which connect to other carriers in different countries. The documents have be spot on as one single filter/route mistake would blackout a country. Cisco the main provider of lan/wan equipment don't locali...

Come on guys, you’re being too harsh. He managed just fine in Afghanistan. What’s so special about Cambodia? Why wouldn’t he be a wheelchair bound network engineer in Siem Reap that learns his 2nd language at record speed and sometimes works, sometimes is retired? He’s obviously doing his due dilige...
