I just registered and this is my 1st post, but a long time lurker. This is the best thread I've read on the board. My wife is Viet, and was in the Viet Army in the 80's. In '87, she was a nurse, in Cambodia. We've never talked about it in detail, I do know that they patched up wounded for transfer ...

I think it was in '84, my wife, mom, and step dad went to Cambodia. He was Cambodian/Chinese. She has said that she had to speak Khmer, or be identified as Viet and possibly killed.
