I wonder if those sycophantic underlings are in any way embarrassed about having to call this individual in for the photo op and forced apology.
What a complete and utter waste of everyone's time.

Re: Looking for a gym
It's a big spread between Pochentong to Chamkar Doung to Chbar Umpov to Chroy Chongvar to Daun Penh to Russey Keo to Sensok. No point (IMO) of recommending somewhere that it will take you an hour to travel to and from. Phnom Penh is a relatively small city, around 270 sq kms or for arguments sake 1...

Re: Looking for a gym
Elite Fitness have gyms all over town, relatively unknown to expats I think, but pretty decent from my observation & pay as you go entry allowed: https://www.google.com/maps/search/elite+fitness/@11.5608002,104.8924088,14z?entry=ttu The gym area is decent. But the one I checked out a couple of year...

Re: Buying a motercycle
Hi I just moved to Phnom penh and am looking to buy a motorcycle. Though from what I have read foreigners can only buy new or imported motorcycles that have not been registered under a Cambodian. I need to be able to register it under my name because I intent to ride to Thailand a couple days a mon...

There is also something weird about the timeline. He fell into a coma in Koh Rong… then he went back to Siem Reap? Before getting a 5.5 hour ambulance trip to PP. Sounds like he got sick on Koh Rong, then sufficiently got better and went ‘home’ to Siem Reap before falling sick again. Or maybe the ‘c...

Re: changing Yuan to Riel
You ain’t from round here are you? Addresses are not so useful in PP.
I’d recommend starting here
www.google.com/maps/
And search for Ly Hour.
There are loads of them spread over the city, just choose the closest one to your current location.

Re: New foodie destinations
Amigos on 63 Brazilian buffet, $10/lunch I went there with a friend a couple of days ago The meat is ok, but rather disappointing for a Brazilian restaurant. the rest of the buffet is sad and miserable. Very little variety, most sides seem to be some form of pasta bathing in a cheesy sauce. No pota...

He posted this on one of the PP expat pages, someone commented asking for his experience & qualifications and he replied with a random, almost incoherent comment which really demonstrated the level of his writing abilities. Then he turned off commenting...

Re: biopsy cost
Maybe I should have said 'had a loan of' 'had a lent of' is downunder slang "Lent is the past tense of lend, which means to give someone money or goods with the expectation that it be given back." Except I do not expect to get my money back. Paid $150 cash in hand to the male nurse. Generally at a ...

Said normally takes 10 days but the new year holidays would make it 2 weeks. But from last friday to the 13th is 2 weeks al...
