Re: The Online Plus System
Guest9999, Thank you. All classes have switched back online due to the community spread on February 20. I think more time is spent on both preparing the lessons/homework and grading. I can’t really give you an exact percentage as it varies depending on activity, lesson, and assignment. Salaries have...

Re: The Online Plus System
Thank you for your input guys. I am well aware that I am fortunate to have any job given the current economic climate. However, sometimes the workload gets to me, and the indifferent management doesn’t make the pent-up frustrations any more bearable.

The Online Plus System
Because of the current COVID-19 situation, all schools had to adopt an Online Plus system where classes were rotated on and offline. I just wanted to know about everyone's experience with this. Do you find that the workload online is actually more work like I do, or do you find that working from the...

Re: Basketball nights in Phnom Penh?
I usually play with a group of guys at Premium Sports Club on Sundays. It costs about $12 to $15 an hour but we split it between the guys.
Why not play at Olympic Stadium? There are a bunch of regulars there.

Re: Does a K-Visa allow you to Angkor temples for free?
Those guards in the video were looking for a national ID card. I have a K-visa also. Usually when they ask where my ticket is, I just tell them in Khmer that I'm Khmer and they let me through.

Re: Ezecom: A very bad ISP Company
I used Ezecom for over 3 years but recently changed to Opennet because of the huge price difference. I wouldn't say Ezecom is "a very bad ISP company" since they were always quick to respond to any problems I had in the past. The 1mb line I used always gave me a steady 100+ kbps. However, the $24/mo...

Re: Cambodian Passport
This is the usual process. I have used my Cambodian passport a few times in Poipet. They usually just fingerprint me and I'm done. The Thai side won't stamp your passport if you weren't cleared on the Cambodian side.

Re: Taxi Phnom Penh Battambang
There are taxis that go to Battambang or Poipet near the Central Market. They park near the purple bank; I think it's called the Cambodian Commercial Bank. The price of one person to Poipet is 600 baht or roughly $20. Since it takes less time to get to Battambang, I would imagine it would be cheaper.

Re: Cambodian American Looking to Marry Cambodia Girl
When he brought her to the US, she refused to work. She explained that she worked hard all her life already. Why would she marry an overseas guy just to do more housework? She refused to work as a maid outside the home in the US, or she refused to do housework in the US in her own house? If it's th...
