Re: Medical Insurance
Look into April (Global, based in France) essential plan. Cost me <US$3,000 a year when I enrolled at age 64. Five years later, a bit more than $3,000. This is with a $500 deductible. I was hospitalized at Royal Phnom Penh after an accident, bill paid in full directly to the hospital with no problem...

Re: Forte COVID insurance for entry - questions
Great, thanks. So I can get the minimum 20 day policy and will still be stamped in for 30 days? Since I already have insurance that covers COVID, no reason on earth for me to want it any longer than mandatory.

Forte COVID insurance for entry - questions
1. Can anyone confirm if only Forte insurance is allowed for entry, or can other insurance that covers COVID be used? The government sites seem to suggest it must be Forte. Seems ridiculous for those of use with substantial cover under existing policies. 2. Assuming it must be Fote - they offer opti...

Flying to Cambodia from Thailand - how are peopel doing it?
As the land borders are closed it apears that from Thailand one has to fly to PP, but there are no direct flights between Bkk and PP currently.
I assume people are routing through a third country. Would appreciate hearing which ones/which routes people have used and cost.
thanks

Re: Dutch Woman Found Murdered in Phnom Penh Home
Why in earth -- in Cambodia if all places -- does everyone assume the man arrested by the police (after an suspiciously short period of"investigation") is guilty>

Re: Dutch Woman Found Murdered in Phnom Penh Home
Utterly tragic.
Unfortunately I think the odds of the man arrested being the actual perp is very, very low. More likely he just adds to the list of innocent victims in this horrible tragedy.

Re: tear gas near palace
AFAIK it is far from established that the man killed and those seriously injured were throwing rocks at all. I personally know one of the injured and he was not. Aside from the seriously injured, lots of people thrown to the ground, threatened, kicked around a bit. Many of them with no connection to...

Re: Where did The Salon go?
And the answer is...
The Salon is at old location, was just having some renovations.
And eyelash tinting is also available at Chocolate Blonde on St 240.
