Re: Peter Hogan, aka keeping_it_riel RIP
If it's what Peter would have wanted, then why is nobody making snide comments now? I'm not because it's not really my way. Re: KIR in Hospital
It seems since Peter's leaving of K440 that the new 'Heads' here take a more moral approach to the demise of fellow expats here in Cambodia.
With that in mind, RIP Peter.

Re: British tourist Glenn Isaacs found hanged on beach
I'm a little late to the 'wake', but what the hell. Turns out, well rumours are. He was actually a Phnom Penh expat, who came down to here after being chased for no visa. Found "hanged" though a few eye witnesses claim that the back of his head was pretty well 'stoved in' (English slang). Can't tell...

What happened to them?
Can't find a stockist anymore in Sihanoukville.
The website contact form results in a "fatal error", (but I survived).
Facebook page is a million years old.

Re: Buffets in Sihanoukville
Only Breakfast Buffets. The one at The Beach Club is probably the best. Still only $5. The one at Queenco, used to be great under the recently departed management, sadly it's slipped so far down now that it's actually embarrassing to watch. Have to get there before 10am for both, staff tend to sneak...

Re: Monthly Guesthose Rentals.
Electricity in an A/C room averages around $25, though one guy regularly hit around $100.
He doesn't seem to mind and likes to come back to a cold room after a hot morning / afternoon on the beach

Re: Monthly Guesthose Rentals.
Yes, maybe it wasn't quite as clear as I'd thought, but daily rentals include everything. We're generally $15 per night, $10 per night for a month, however long term arrangements (3 months and longer) are classed as apartment rentals, which basically means $150 per month plus electricity at cost pri...
