Re: Teaching in Korea (South)
Hi wolfcreek specific questions: Does Korea have a similar attitude to China when it comes to teachers - strong preference for the USA accents, perhaps preferring people within a specific age range? Yes - even more so than China IMHO. Young, American females are definitely the preferred candidates....

Re: Seriously need help. Asiana Airlines
- PNH airport (and many other airports in the world) check-in closing time is 50min before departure. So we arrive at counter around 11:50am should be absolutely fine. Their customer support says that we should arrive airport 3 hours before departure. So it is our fault (while PNH check-in counter ...

Re: Sensible discussion on British politics thread
Exactly, I don't think anyone is changing their mind on what colour they vote for, and probably 99% never have - the question is whether they turn up or not, not whether any incidents will swing votes. Boris could be caught in a NY toilet giving Trump a "Boris Johnson" and next week the folks in bl...

It always feels weird to, but sometimes he’s just plain right: https://i.postimg.cc/dQksKCL6/3-E94-ACE7-D4-F5-4892-BBF2-FD3-CFE6-F887-E.jpg Too bad 2019 Trump doesn’t agree with 2014 Trump. When he says us he means him. And when he says pay he means through his hotels and golf courses. Apart from t...

Re: New UK PM is Boris Johnson
Small point: every time I was called " Chicken " as a kid, it was because I wouldn't do something staggeringly stupid that would likely lead to arrest, injury or death. I'm personally very found of the word chicken. It reassures me that I'm doing something right. You ?. This,  ...

Re: Ashes 2019
Wow. That was incredible. Stokes is a legend already, I even believe his story about defending those gays in Bristol now. Hopefully things don't get out of hand in Leeds tonight.
So 10 days until the next test, top order changes are needed.

Re: Ashes 2019
Sadly Buttler hasn't been a success in the test side so it's difficult to make him captain. Root hasn't been a good captain. Needs to move back to 4 and concentrate on being the best batmen. Roy hasn't worked at all, he has no understanding of the conditions and is a wicket waiting to happen when he...

Re: Ashes 2019
This could be really meaningful for the rest of the series: "In terms of Steve's availability for the third Test, this will be considered over the coming days but the short turnaround to the next Test is not in his favour. Steve's fitness will be assessed on an ongoing basis. Hope Steven is Okay. Q...
