Re: Overheard in Phnom Penh
I know of a wealthy Swiss in his late 40s bought his lover a big piece of land near the city, built her a mansion and monthly allowance of around 1k plus a month. He felt head over heel for her. But even though he has been with her over 2 years he doesnt have a clue she is a grey girl who likes to g...

Re: trump travel policy and cambodia
I'm not a big fan of President Trump, and up until two days ago I genuinely disliked Customs and Border Protection. What happened two days ago? He crossed over the border seeking for sum love from midget Mexicans, the border patrol agents confused him as an illegal alien when tried to re enter thro...

Re: Land in Siem Reap: Is it under Apsara's Authority?
If the punk Sokhong aka Sokha Hotels and resort is allowed to build perhaps the biggest hotel in Cambodia less than 3km away from the main Angkor Wat temple, round up the villagers and demand the same...who knows, mr excellency might give it a green light esp the general election is just around the ...

binocular etiquette
I live on a 3rd floor and it gives me a 270 degree angle view on my balcony so I got myself a binocular to view the surroundings in my area while having a beer or whatnot. One of my distant neighbors has a habit of not closing her curtain when she gets dress and undress or when at home. I told my fr...

Re: 7 children drown in Sihanoukville
I have no proof to back it up. I think one of the main reasons why some locals are poor swimmers or dont know at all is because of the deep held belief in water ghost, it is called Cherng Kop in Khmer where they have to take the lives from the livings so they can move onto a different realm.

Re: Siem Reap shop may be falsely accusing foreigners of shoplifting then beating and extorting them
I saw it on the 1st hour it was posted. Some of the expats there are known to be complete idiots. The story doesnt even add up, and I ride paste that store no less than 6 times a day and acquainted with a cashier who works there. Though the milk powder scam thing true, but it isnt the only store tha...
