Re: SHV: Calogera Montana, 70, collapses and dies
yeah, he was Italian and, according to Huy Bunleng, the owner of " Nice Massage." Quick translation that is slightly more readable than google's khmenglish: Sihanoukville: authorities informed us that a foreign man has died at 16:30 on 28-11-2016. [His] family confirms that the victim had fallen unc...

Russian and Kazakstani arrested for stealing gems
It's slightly puzzling. They consistently spelled all the place names wrong in Khmer (e.g. ស្រុកបរកែវ instead of ស្រុកបាគាវ or កិចុង rather than កិះចុង). Besides, if the two chaps didn't have passports, how are they so sure of the names, nationalities, and places of birth?? article: nokorwatnews.com...

Re: foreigner in fancy car hits two tuktuks at 4am
I have archived it here . Bless You are a star! So, does this mean nokorwat removed it from their website? ( And I seem to have missed the pic of the (presumed) driver in the Nokorwat article.) Flo's translation says the party "representing" the car wanted to resolve the matter with the police, is ...

Re: foreigner in fancy car hits two tuktuks at 4am
I'm not sure your link works Flo. no, doesn't seem to work. Weirdly I can't find the article on Nokorwat's news stream anymore. In any case; yes, definitely the same accident as the article/pics you posted, though Nokorwat didn't have pictures of the driver. He looks much less intoxicated than I ex...

Chinese expat Sei Lang Ba is found dead in his room
Weirdly written article (mentions all sorts of weird details), but a sad story; it seems he leaves behind two sons and a wife. The authorities seem very sure he died of a heart attack (what else? ). Chinese man [who has] a family, was found laying dead in his room. November 22, 2016 08:13AM Phnom Pe...

Re: PNH: 35 year old American Jordan Christensen dead from overdose
they say he tested positive for meth amphetamine and heroin. From the pictures it is clear he was administrating it intravenously. We've had a few cases like that; is speedballing (or, I guess, methballing) that popular in the Kingdom? Do dealer sell these drugs pre-mixed? Also, minor inconsistency;...

English man in Battambang about to be deported for being an illegal resident
http://www.police.gov.kh/archives/46451 I assume his name is James Inman or Enman, rather than " Jaimes Onpman", but the proper spelling is anybody's guess. An English, [who] was residing without correct documents, man detained for questioning Battambang: officers of the immigration department of t...

Re: Multiple fire trucks in BKK3
It is probably because of this: http://www.police.gov.kh/archives/46148 Don't have time to do a full translation, but it seems there was a gas explosion near Dombok khpuos Pagoda when something went wrong at a ice factory near a school. The teachers evacuated the American school nearby (brought the ...

Re: Australian tourist Valeri Aynbund is found dazed and confused at airport
Was he dumped there by well-meaning friends? yeah, that would be my guess. Maybe not by friends as such, but by a concerned stranger (or guesthpuse owner). He only arrived three weeks before this and presumably was lucid then. I would speculate that something happened (a TIA? Rapid onset dementia?)...
