Re: Ramen Noodles
Would be nice to revive this thread and get some updates on good Ramen in PP. I've been to a place called O-San on Street 294 (between 63 and Monivong) and liked it. Shortly after a friend complained after getting sick from their food. As it's my normal rule here in PP I haven't been back after. Tod...

Re: Coffee Machine
You could also drop by Feel Good Coffee on either Street 29 or on Street 136. They sell machines and also provide set up, servicing, barista training etc. They also have the best coffee in town imo

Re: Turkish Delight for sale!
Is that place closed for good now? Last few times I drove/walked past it was closed and that was around dinnertime, 7/8pm.
I've been back several times over the last months and the new owner (I assume) was a very friendly and accommodating guy. Sad to see it has shut down again.

Re: Drivers License
Does anybody have recent experience obtaining a 5 years Cambo Drivers license, based on a (currently) expired 1 year Cambo Drivers license, without having an official Sangkat residential letter, without sitting the theoretical exam and doing the practice one ? I am glad to inform you that from now ...

Iching Decor or Beyond Interiors are the only two I can think of. They might be worth a try.

Re: Benjamin Holst - coming to Cambodia soon?
It would be interesting to know how much he can make in a day... probably enough for a jug or two at GSM, but really enough to pay guesthouse, food etc? There's a suspicion that he may actually be supported by the German government or his parents, through a trust fund or something, as a result of h...

Isn't it actually nicer to get the burger (or whatever) made to order, than for them to hand you one that's been sitting around the shelf for an hour!?

+1 Excellent food and IMO the best coffee in town.steivan wrote:Since you are on 136 already, you might want to try FeelGood Cafe and Coffee roasters. Excellent coffee and good food.
It can be a bit tricky to find though. It's on Street 136, between intersection of Str 13 and Str 15. Narrow, tall building.

Re: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap, two airlines reviewed
I recently flew Bassaka Phnom Penh <--> Siem Reap. English(?) captain, good and efficient service, easy flight. Consider that Bassaka is in fact owned by NagaWorld and probably mostly generates revenue through charters flying in high rollers from HK, China, Macao etc. I doubt they make a profit with...

Where to Eat Now? BKK Edition(There)
The baguette sandwiches at Comme a la Maison are pretty good. You can order them in the deli, they keep the sandwich menus behind the counter. With Da Sandro closed and Grab n Go closed, I think there's a shortage of decent sandwich places in town. The only other ones I know of are Fatboy's and Buf...
