Re: What drinks are you downing tonight
It did not but only because I haven't drank anything else today. I had another cup of coffee about twenty minutes ago and I'm going to drink some celery broth with my first meal of the day.

Re: Argue in circles about British politics thread

Re: North Korea on defence mode
The South Korean government silences critics and indoctrinates the population in government schools. A few powerful families control most of the economy and media. Despite this, I think the levels of censorship in the DPR Korea are actually worse than in South Korea. The South Korean regime tolerate...

Re: North Korea on defence mode
South Koreans have lived under occupation for so long that many of them are thoroughly brainwashed and unwilling to live in a socialist society. The fertility rate in the south is one of the lowest in the world. The DPR Korea is a poor country and they do not have the resources to take care of the a...

It isn't a Ponzi scheme because it is decentralized. It isn't comparable to the tulip trade because it is demonstrably scarce and it has shown resiliency and continued growth far longer than the three years of tulip mania. I think it is extremely unlikely that it will go to 0 but it could lose 90% o...

Re: Argue in circles about British politics thread
I've been seeing more and more articles about food contamination cases in the UK like this one: https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/tesco-recalls-stuffing-mix-as-it-may-contain-moths/ar-AA1lupyH One consequence of Brexit is a watering down of the UK's food standards. Nowadays, not only do Brit...

Israel will either become a vibrant, multicultural democracy or it will face increasing isolation from the rest of the world and collapse from within. Israel is in a precarious position. International trade is necessary to their survival. With dwindling support in America, it is only a matter of ti...
