Re: Sleazy Street,Victory Hill SNV - New Concrete Rd
Without the Russians who are at least somewhat normal, it would be gruesome. If Russian sex tourists are the ones to raise the average quality of foreigners in Sihanoukville, I know understand why I've never wanted to head down there. The Russians are mostly young couples, late 20s early 30s, with ...

Sleazy Street,Victory Hill SNV - New Concrete Rd
The powers-that-be have concreted the length of bar street on Victory Hill widening it a little bit and turning it into a drag strip with no speed bumps. In the past I have seen cars travelling down the road at more than 50mph and sadly it seems it will be just a matter of time before either a Khmer...

I use it as mouthwash. Much cheaper than Listerine and does the same job.Lucky Lucan wrote:I think the Mekong sold here is made locally. Re: Expats in Sihanoukville
You'll find that a lot of the SHV expats have left this site after repeated bashing on the town by people who hadn't been there in 10 years So easy to rile Pattaya and Snooky expats:-) I guess they know that live in what amounts to pimples on the arse of the world and get really defensive about it....

Things are starting to change down on the coast faster than in Phnom Penh where you now have just recently got a limited bus service.

Re: Sponsored Walk Siem Reap - Sihanoukville
Congrats to Charlie on completing his walk.
I have been told he has raised $2700 so far for the school plus there is a more to be be added to that.
Plus a big thank you to the Ochheuteal Guesthouse for their input to the event.

Re: Resurrecting Automatic Scooter
Sounds like fuel / air mixture wrong.
Clean the carb and jets.
Also possibly the air filter is blocked as you say it craps out at full throttle. New filter costs about $4.

Re: Food in Cambodia
Crab fried in Kampot Pepper IMHO is the best Cambodian food. $2.50 a plate. http://www.isihanoukville.com/uploads/1/6/4/1/16415466/3793331_orig.jpg?297 Chicken Bor Bor (rice gruel) can be good for $1 a bowl. Look for busy roadside sellers with lots of Lexuses parked up. Add beansprouts and spring on...

Re: Angry Virus
Out of interest does anyone know why it is only a year?Once a person has been infected with dengue fever, his or her immune system keeps producing cells that prevent reinfection for about a year
With things like mumps and chicken pox it's normally lifetime immunity.
