Re: 440 poster gets pissed and punchy at Vito
The sort of everyday occurrence that wouldn't elicit the merest batting of an eyelid in the good old days. Scurrying away, no, it was C2U who stomped off in a huff leaving me standing outside the supermarket somewhat bemused; no such challenge was laid down, I'm afraid. As for the famous...

The sort of everyday occurrence that wouldn't elicit the merest batting of an eyelid in the good old days. You mean occurrences like you scurrying away from a rabid Chuang2tu, challenging you to a proper fisticuffs out front of Thai Huot........and then the post office? Those good old days? However...

Re: Bousra Waterfall at Mondulkiri Province
Go for it but avoid the weekend. Elephant valley for a bit of eco-tourism too. Be prepared to be shocked by all the deforestation and rubber plantations though. Follow the "old death" highway 76 all the way up to Ban Lung if you haven't been up there. Why would you avoid the weekend? you know there...

Of course you can pay a lot more, but I bought a load of everyday ones from Decathlon for around $10 each. Very lightweight, fine for out riding the bike or whatever, and super lightweight, which is good for travelling.

Re: Beer in Cambodia
There seem to be a few more imported beers available now, often advertised on Facebook.
I don't drink a lot of beer at home, preferring wine, but I think I might take a case of Kronenbourg. $38 seems reasonable.
Anyone know if it's imported or brewed here?

Re: 440 poster gets pissed and punchy at Vito - Page 4
I won't go into too much detail, but I feel this is all a bit unfair. It would be different if the person in question was a known rabblerouser, and this thread was his inevitable comeuppance, but I think most people would agree with me when I say that, by and large, the bloke seems fairly harmless,...

Re: Mercedes ML280CDI 2006 for Sale
Well guys, always nice reading your expert advice. Just for the record the 270 was for the W163 series, the 280 was the entry model for the W164 series with a 3-ltr 6-cylinder V6 engine and 190 HP, whereas the 320 had 220 HP or so. Otherwise identical. Good to know. Have only been a Merc fan for a ...

Re: The Khmer technique of simultaneously drying and destroying t-shirts
Who on earth 'steps out to dinner' in a t-shirt? T-shirts are for children. And rock concerts. I don't even feel offended by that silly statement, as I pity people who need to dress up to impress or because their job requires it, especially here in the tropics. There's absolutely nothing wrong with...
