Re: Moto accident
Having said all that, Cambodian motorists seem to have a death wish, especially the young. Total disregards for road courtesy and safety. No concept for defensive driving at all. All kinds of risks taken just to shave a few seconds. Don't these idiots realize that, unlike diving a car, the slightest...

Re: Extending a tourist visa in Phnom Penh?
I heard things are going to get a lot tougher this year. A new department (or is it Ministry) is to be formed and all matters pertaining to Immigration (business, work, tourist visas etc) come under its umbrella. Appointment of its director, deputy director has been submitted to the king and we all ...

Re: Your Reputation
Back to the original post, a little Eastern philosophy -
Life, is all about integrity and common sense.
When you make a promise, fulfill it even if it bankrupts you. That's integrity.
Never make such a promise. That's common sense.
I think it's attributed to a certain Mr Confucius.

- extremely long spouse superstition story End this relationship buddy. Do yourself a favour.[/i] That has been on my mind, of course. Maybe some background so you guys can understand the quandary I am in. I got to know her 2 years ago when she was working as a manager in the now defunct disco. Wen...

Re: The Legend of the Aap
The GF just came back, 1.45pm now, sobbing that a ‘k’mouk’ (spirit? ghost?) tried to kill her while she was having her therapeutic massage, upgraded from the incessant cupping and coining she goes to for menstrual pain to a coronary. She then called her mother in the province to say she’s coming hom...

Re: Motorcyclist loses head trying to pass car
I might be flamed for this, but these idiots have no one to blame but themselves. There are times I feel like stopping besides the arseholes writhing in pain and laugh. It's a death wish riding like this and well, sometimes wishes come true.

And the figure $3.2B was mentioned, what this trade was worth. $3.2B? Really? That motordop guy guy should be wearing his 10 carat diamond ring. The Singaporean team what came here to do this must have relied entirely on the NGOs for 'research'. Half heresay, half researched and half fucked. And I'...

Re: The North Korean propaganda restaurant
I prefer the South Korean restaurants around town, in particular Jaru, just off the Russian Blvd on St 226. The few Northie's I have been, well, what can I say? Certainly can't hold a candle to the South's superior quality. Their song and dance routine gets old after one visit. Good only for street ...

Re: Larry's 110 St Bar & Grill
Hi Potty, It's not as hard as one would imagine. A few flower vase, the large ones, put around the corners should be able to hold at least a kg each. The charcoal doesn't need to be changed, and in the event it needs changing, it can be put to good use in the kitchen or the barbie. And it costs next...

Re: Larry's 110 St Bar & Grill
A couple of exhaust fans should do the job. As for the stale cigarette odor, nothing sucks up odors like a few kilo-bags of charcoal placed into every corner of the place.

Typical tactics - find a convenient bogeyman. Practised by almost if not all nations.
