Re:
I had forgotten they now take fingerprints. While they already have my fingerprints at a Sangkat (presumably) I don't think they would be on an electronic database. Anyone ever managed to divert them from taking them at the airport? I hate to become part of the USA system in that way. sent directly...

Re: What is the greatest Sporting Event
Jock Jock's post on the Ryder Cup has got me thinking about what is the best sporting event. For me I think the Ryder Cup takes it. It has rivalry, teamwork, variety of competition, tactics, its extremely competitive (normally) & it lasts long enough but not too long that you lose interest. (Also N...

Wouldn't it make sense to also have her take a driving class in Cambodia? Just to familairize herself with cars, then tell her to disregard everything the Cambodian instructor tells her. I'd love to see a Cambodian driving instructor attempt parallel parking. On a related note, set a date for that ...

Because presumably you want your children to get your stuff after you die. If you end up divorced from their stepmother, they lose 1/2 their inheritance. And if you die without a will, your wife gets everything and they probably lose 1/2 their inheritance. http://www.cnbc.com/2015/02/12/remarrying-...

Thank you. She has already started making contacts among the Khmer community in Phoenix, where we will be living. We found a traditional Khmer restaurant and the girl that owns it has been helping my wife make a few contacts via FaceBook. So I think she will be okay. I found a Khmer pagoda to go to...

Re: K1 Fiancee Visa - APPROVED
Like I said, the US Government recently overhauled the k1/k3 visa process and that is why it took us only 5.5 months where as my buddy 1 year ago had to wait 15 months, which was very normal. That's troubling. I'm sure President Trump will fix this with his plans for "extreme vetting" Pretty sure i...

Re: Duterte challenges Trump to a fistfight
Isn't the really important issue here his constant unthinking off the cuff comments based on no research and information? The tiniest insights into US foreign policy would tell him that the Philippines is one of the US's biggest allies and the guy even has businesses in Manila. It also ignores the ...
