Re: Renting Chenla/Chaktomuk Theatre or other Stage
I didn't know renting Chenla and Chaktomuk could be that flaky. Thanks for telling. I'll check if Fred Frumberg is back in town and ask him. If not I'll try to get in touch with this Sal. I just checked out the website of the CJCC. They post prices ( http://cjcc.edu.kh/facilities/facilities-equipmen...

Renting Chenla/Chaktomuk Theatre or other Stage
Does anyone here know how much it costs to rent a stage here. I'd like to use Chaktomuk Theatre, Phnom Penh Cultural Centre, or the Department of Performing Arts for a performance in December. I just have no clue how much it costs or who to contact to find out. I was also interested in the Russian C...

Re: Direct buses from Phnom Penh to BangKoK next month!
I just went to the Capitol Bus company and was told there are no night buses. There is only one bus departing at 6:30am.
Does anyone know of another company offering a direct bus from Phnom Penh to Bangkok? I'd rather travel overnight.

Re: 'Stephen Jetes His Way to Cambodia '
Interesting article. I wonder if they have talked to Amrita who have a lot of experience in the contemporary art space. Also, who their many customers will be? Good be an interesting opportunity. We mostly have expat students at the moment. Over 30 people signed up for a term within four days of op...

Re: What did you have for dinner?
Thanks, RAR. Re the tomatillos, yes, they should grow here. My girlfriend's sister has them in her garden (she says). I know that tomatillos grow in the region, I used to have them in my garden in Chiang Mai and on my balcony in Georgetown, but I do not think that they are used in curry. I have onl...
