Re: Best 3G ISP for smartphones in PP?
How fast is the Cellcard 3G? How long does it take to load/play a youtube clip for example? Is it possible to hookup your phone's 3G to a computer?. I use USB tethering to share. On my android phone, I plug the phone into the computer via a USB cable, go to settings on the phone, activate USB tethe...

Re: the winds of change -UK. Scary sh$t
Well done Al Qaeda. They could never have dreamed back in Sep 2001 how much they'd single-handedly fuck up the Western world. I never saw one piece of legislation they drafted. You get the Government you deserve. I gave up debating with the scared citizens of my country long ago. They who would giv...

Re: Australia to give $1 million to Angkor temples
now $1. million to The Angkor Temple fund,. I received an email from someone involved in the project, and they confirmed it is not new money and apparently Aus. is renegging on about 1/2 of it, leading to some consternation with Cambodian officials. If so, well done Bob Carr you twat. and now the a...

While I have not ridden the 350, I have ridden the 250, 400 & 650. None of them have torque. KTM 690, sure, XR650, sure DR350? ... not so much... that aside the price seems reasonable.Jackal wrote:Yeah, DR350 Suzies have torque.

I hope not, climbing Uluru in the early ’90s was a seminal experience for me, and I ran out of daylight last time I was at Angkor to do the same there.shizzle wrote: If nothing else, hopefully they will stop people from climbing all over Angkor much like they did with Uluru.

A 1994 era 350cc has "torque" ? I guess everything is subjective.Alley Cat Cafe wrote:if you prefer torque to avoid police rather than talking to police this is the bike.

Re: Fluoridation in Cambodia
However in australia it has resulted in massive improvements in the health of childrens teeth Calling bullshit on that, "post hoc ergo propter hoc" . Fluoride has no benefit unless applied topically. It's like drinking sunscreen and thinking it will stop you getting sun burn both applied topically ...

Re: In hospital
Apparently I picked up some really bad germs. Will probably be here a few days and then will need 4 or more weeks of IV antibiotics. All the best and get better soon, 4 weeks is a long time, definitely serious !!! I was hospitalised for a week in Aus in the ICU prior to coming to Cambodia, (somethi...

Re: A good tuk-tuk driver in Snooky?!?
We have never had any problems with TT's in Snooky, I have just financed one with a micofinance loan but he won't be up and running for a month or so. We've found them to be the same as the ones in PP, we always negotiate a price first, saves the sort of scene you encountered and have as many try it...
