Re: Motorcycle rides to different provinces
750km on a Yamaha 125 ... that sounds pretty painful. It wasn't too bad. Like I said I stopped often. 80-90 kph isn't bad for a 125 but only if you're experienced and have a good suspension and decent brakes. My bike had disk brakes and fat tyres (one of the "big" 125s), but doing it on a smaller u...

Re: Motorcycle rides to different provinces
I've done 750 km in a day (averaging around 80-90 kph) but stopping fairly often for fuel, food and water. I was on a Yamaha 125.
I only did it because I get motion sickness so busses, vans and taxis are out.

Are you more in the back? I'm in the star platinum area near the street and it seems like that area is tied into the industrial side of the grid near the hospital and such.

Re: A lovely couple
If you take enough pictures of anyone, you are going to find some that make them look like shit. And you can guarantee their enemies will search until they find them. Trump, and Melania by proxy, have plenty of enemies. ?? What are you going on about enemies and such? I just think Melania is a stra...

Re: Power outages and traffic lights
Do the big factories have a pass on this from EDC, or do they have to generate their own power like us? Either way it's pretty bad for business, coming at a time when EBA is under review, wages are on the rise, etc, etc. There's two acre sized factories near the place I'm staying at just outside pp...

Re: Its OK to be white
There are also many Christians in the world that do not adhere to the conquest model of expansion, but that doesn't mean there haven't been millions of deaths that have happened in the name of religion. I agree that people should be seen for what they are and do, but to ignore the forces behind tota...

Re: Its OK to be white
But what about when it's the religion itself from the top down that is responsible for untold amounts of death, destruction and oppression?

Re: Safety in Province
I have a place in the provinces. I like living there much more than pp but unless youre an independent contractor or have some kind of income itll be difficult to sustain yourself. But in terms of traffic safety and drug gangs or what have you there is no comparison. Miles safer.

Re: Why can’t Khmers translate into Khmer?
i would slightly change that to say that your wife has the skills (acquired) and you have the gift (inherited).. No, i maintain she has the gift. Ive watched her sit in front of a radio casually listening to foreign language programmes while cutting vegetables and now shes fairly fluent and convers...
