Cambo Railway and AusAid

Re: Where In Sihanoukville Do Various Busses Stop
If you walk to just outside the bus station you'll find someone willing to to take a more reasonable price, $1 for a moto or $2 for a tuk tuk to Serendipity. Well done, we can't get a tuk tuk for even close to that. They flaty refuse, as in drive away, if we try for under $4 (this is across the roa...

Re: Motodops try to ban moto rentals -again
I like how they try to ban foreign tourists from renting motos instead of, say, improving their service to compete... How's that philisophy much different to Union demands in the West these days? Eg QANTAS staff wanted job security. How's about doing an outstanding job instead of being a bunch of s...

One wonders at the voters who put him there.Banker wrote:No wonder Australia is going down the toilet, here is a minister who can not make a decision.
That aside, he will be the party leader (in opposition) after the next election.

Re: Banking ... again
Try Canadia. Not exactly sure their criteria, but I didn't show them a lease or a work contract. I definitely had a 1 year visa though... Thanks... I had considered them but because I use them already I was looking for an alternate for redundancy purposes. I may try them anyway, see if they pull th...

Re: Banking ... again
I'd recommend going in and attempting to look like a normal member of society, if possible, and trying again. By this I assume you mean dress like many ex pat locals; in scruffy "shpants" (to quote Arj Barker) , sans shirt, with flip flops ? I was dressed in what I would call "smart casual" and had...

Re: Banking ... again
I just went to ANZ Royal and they said no, fuck off (I have paraphrased of course). Apparently you need a visa with longer then 6 months.. or so they say... the irony of this is of course, I have 5 months left and have been screwed around for the last month trying to open an account. If I had a stam...

They get around. They were in Kampong Som a week ago... I did a double take and wondered if perhaps he had an animal nesting there.krisduncs wrote:i think i know who you mean ken. he spends time in kampot. he is with a girl. that is a huge bun on his noggin!
