It also sort of implies the newbie is (as should be) fair game if the question is inane or if s/he proves him/herself from the start to be some sort of complete moron. I fail to see 99% of newbie questions can establish the one who asks as a moron. Especially since many questions that are asked are...

I would think many would find City of Ghosts rather boring if it was set entirely 'present day'. But realistically the dated features of the movie aren't particularly numerous. The most striking difference is as bar one said, the visuals - lack of paint on the buildings and of course the crappy road...

Charging an expensive "Express fee" for visas, and ensuring the "regular" service is so slow and unreliable as to be unusable. These are good examples of whe...

nohgoot, i checked up with the missus and her suggestion is similar to the ones above - Shimla. She said if you loathe dreadlocked hippies then goa is most certainly out, and Delhi is not the place to be in July and especially not at any time if you have a wife and young son - the streets are simply...

Ha ha ha. . . it's the accepted norm for me to pay for dates in ANY country. My post was just a sarcastic joke on MD's snobbery. I think it would be fun to watch snobby Hong Kong bankers turn their noses up at him. . . Well maybe he's an investment banker himself with a PhD in finance in which case...

say what you want about imposing western values on the "poor brownies" but at least it gets some of these kids OUT OF THE STATES and opens their eyes to the world. Which is exactly why i said that they are here to help themselves, not the Khmers. They are here for self improvement, which may or may...
