Re: Riverside woes
I'm not against real improvements in PP. With all those condos and apts coming online in 2018, we need something. Coordinated traffic lights is the best (non)-solution to traffic? Co-ordinated 'lan Khmer' would assist greatly. Cambodians drive the same as they walk: the transition from village to c...

Re: Riverside woes
It's a step forward, the traffic is becoming more and more chaotic. They have designed what could be a better system, where traffic light timings depend on the flow rather than just set timings. Re: Most common cause of barfights in KoW?
Yeah, the city of Darwin has a whole lot of relevance to the topic of bar fights in Cambodia. What a fucking Klutz. Ahem... Darwin is as much Asian as Jogyakarta and other Asian cities. Those who spark fights in bars in Darwin are as likely to do so in Cambodia. (It's not whether you win or lose......

Re: What will Cambodia be like in 10 years?
It takes generational change for a population to decide a direction, so I must say that a ten-year projection is insufficient. you are assuming it hasn't already begun and the starting point is now. No, I'm addressing the question. I have observed change annually since 2001, travelled elsewhere, an...
