Re: White Saviour Barbie
Love in African, so there's only one language in that country? It's a funny put down, saving the tears and those lovely orphans. I notice in Australia that aspiring models and soapie stars like to do a stint in a Cambodian orphanage to beef up the CV.

Re: Belgium in the dwang
A dwang is a horizontal framing member also known as a noggin. A read something recently about the 1800s when the Dutch complained of unregulated immigration by scruffy Belgians. Funny how things work out. The Congolese also had a problem with Belgians as well, enslaving them and cutting off hands a...

Bugger. My son turned me on to Prince when he was five. We had the hot young baby sitter who loved him as well. They used to listen to his records together, so many great songs.

Re: ANZAC Day 2016
Crikey what a thread about not much at all. The Japanese never seriously planned to invade Austrslia partly due to rivalries between the army and navy. But after the bombing of Darwin the allies thought that it was a serious possibility. But by then the Japanese had supply lines that were too expose...

Re: Mini-cooper collides with motorbike, father and infant son gravely injured
Saw the pics repeated endlessly on the TV news this morning. The car had the windscreen stoved in so it was obviously quite high speed. Much more damage than to the car Luna hit. The father had a bloodied head as did the infant in nappies. How a baby would survive the trauma I don't know. Don't we s...

Re: ANZAC Day 2016
Not Anzac Day again. They have locked up so
many kiwis on Nauru that this day is even more bollocks than usual. There is hardly a survivor from the last good war, WW2. Our US sponsored adventures consequently should only bring shame to us all.

Re: The 'be christ, ain't it hot thread' thread
It's really not hot at all. It's the lack of humidity for sure. Northern Australia is much, much hotter than this. I find this weather to be pretty cool.

Re: Serendipity Beach Cleared!
The night before new year, no chairs and tables. New Years night they crept back. The local authorities are completely brainless. On New Year's Day the entire 2 kilometre length of the Otres public beach lined with Khmer cars, unbelievable. The rubbish left behind must have been awesome. The flash h...

Deserted, and warm. It's a lovely time to drive around. I had forgotten how nice the city could be.
