We need to boycott socks. Down with tyrants! Piss on Scobie for his deceptionn, betrayal, and dumb ass tricks. But, maybe he'll end up like the last guy ... Laughing in his shower at the money he made and the humiliation he pulled off, then, WHAM! (Haha, just kidding, haha.) OK, you can play a bit, ...

Re: Is staff at the old Howie bar spiking drinks?
I think the FB post above about the Wall has been deleted now too. Some tosser responded that you should carry a wine stopper with you and plug your beer bottle when you go for a piss. No, just carry your drink! Is it so difficult? Newbies! It's like a sobriety test. If you don't spill your drink, ...

Re: Cadillac bar/restaraunt
I thought it was a try before you buy sort of thing? Every now and again, the royal courts used to open their grand double-doors to the grass-eating public. Common merchant folk, even professional smithies, could mingle in the same area with the esteemed and blessed "higher folk." Why not let some e...

Oh, woe for not having it at a well-run, neutral, mid-level place with good music and BBQ like Garage ... You guys even brought notoriety to El Garaje ... Then again, so did the guy who died of heroine ... Anyways, just don't make out with some hottie right then and there at the party, it makes peop...

Me, too. The long term solution: bring lots of seeds (dirt cheap, haha) and grow them. Everything grows here, and it only takes a few weeks. Can't find it, I would have to ask a pro with pics: store owner selling plants, or the university botanist. A vet or ... Just call one of the newer pet stores.

Only Strunk and White ("Elements of Style," for you non-literate types) make me summarize for you:
A bride is actually a bridle, used to harness and control an animal and make it more manageable.
Giving responsibility to some people make them grow up.
Look at still single Gavin Mac! (Haha).

Re: Can we find a job for...
You know the real meaning of "bride," don't you? To bridle a horse, you essentially control the head of the animal. This allows you to use the horse for domestic purposes. The horse is no longer allowed to run free on the plains, chat up young fillies, maybe get in a fight or two. No more. Now, it's...

Re: Can we find a job for...
If you gave me a job, I might have to act mature. Sobering but true. (Haha). I have so much freedom now. I can choose jobs that are more fun that career advancing. Which reminds me of a funny story. How do you get rid of that annoying guy who has too much time on his hands? You know, too young, a bi...

Tax Changes Oct 2018?
Has anyone got the *clear* summary of recent tax changes in Cambodia? I was able to attend some tax forums. This is what was going through my head: - VAT are they talking about? Withhold not! - Registered or not, here we come! FYI, "consultants" are being scrutinized, if in fact you are a big player...

My dear well-intentioned fellow posters, As long as there is rice to be sown in SE Asia, there will be restless farmer's daughters seeking a better life for them and their families. I pity them, they have a really tough life. Your views may change, if you stick around longer. They are as evil as pac...
