Re: Caffeine pills?
I'd try to figure out (a) why I was waking up tired and (b) why my back hurts as major priorities. You could have liver or kidney damage which whould explain both, try some Milk Thistle tablets if you drink frequently or in large amounts when you do (Simarilon or Legalon I believe are the brands av...

Re: Am I the only one who brings my own water to restaurants
If you ask for a glass of water most places will give you water from the staff jug. Almost all places have the big 10L jugs and I have rarely have a problem getting a glass from there rather than buying a bottle. Bringing outside drink in to a restaurant is a bad idea anywhere I think. You wouldn't ...

Re: Caffeine pills?
I don't know where to get them, and while they probably will work in the short time you had better find out why you are so groggy in the morning. Snore a lot? Maybe sleep apnea? I used to have a hell of a time getting up and was always groggy... I snored a lot before, and had a girl tell me she was ...

Re: Oky, what is the secret of learning Khmer
Great. So now we have countless versions of it and none of them make any sence..... Better start learning Khmer writing then...jm wrote:Blame Sihanouk. His big stand against the French early in his rule was to stop the rollout of romanized Khmer which had just begun.

Re: Oky, what is the secret of learning Khmer
One of the problems I have with learning Khmer is with the romanization of it. It seems there are so many variants of how Khmer language is romanized and its really hard to follow. Ive got two or three text books and they both romanize totally different. One of them I cant read for the life of me......

Re: What now for mobile internet?
The metfone connection is a 256Kb connection which is 32KB/s, so to down load a 100MB file takes about 50 minutes, and that's all you you can do with your internet for that 50 minutes Good for my phone, not good for my desktop. Got spoiled using a fast connection. I've got torrents downloading now ...

Re: Any experience selling on ebay FROM Cambodia?
I looked into it a few years back but the cost of shipping from Cambodia is far to expensive. I have found the opposite. I express ship a lot of things to Canada, USA and Japan. With the company I use here the cost is around 1/3 of that of shipping express back home. Also it seems faster. Ive had e...

Re: A weird phone call last night
When I was living in Canada I was calling over here to Cambodia and sending sms quite often. Quite a while after I started calling over here I got a few weird calls from some number (cant remember if it was Cambodian or not) But I could never understand what they were saying and hung up. Finally aft...

Re: Sundance Inn & Saloon
I like this place. Good bar, atmosphere. Never tried the pool table though. Owners seem friendly. Ive always felt the service is really slow though. Every time I go it seems to take ages to get a beer or to pay up. There seems to be one or two guys behind the bar but only one lady waiting the tables...

Re: Wanted: Juicer
A premium half empty mall with few customers sounds about right... I actually was thinking of getting a juicer or some sort of blender/mixer today too. I may pop over there tomorrow. If I see anything I will let you know. Not sure about Big A..

Re: The Italian Cruise Ship Captain
Snappy new Sony cell phone for Xmas with a great media player installed helped me kill two birds with one stone. iPod is dead weight now. But now she has appropriated my kick ass, hard to find earbuds from Japan.... Fair play to her haha. Did I read correctly that this guy came close to the shore so...
