And the way people talk is different to the way it is taught, 5 should be pronounce something like "blam", but when people talk is usually pronounce like "piem". More like "Bram" but the "Pey-em" you mention is just a colloquialism, like "Bram-pul" instead of "Bram-Pi" or the more confusing "Riel" ...

No big surprise there, it's incredibly complicated. Even Cambodian kids learn their ABCs way before their Ghor, Khor, etc.mrfusion wrote:
