Re: Rats
It's not exactly rocket science, unless you feel like paying for an exterminator service, do it yourself. You could try putting the trap out with some bait without setting it so the rat gets used to it and trusts it.Red DRAGON wrote:I think traps are the way to go. Anyone know a trapper here?

Re: Where to buy those garbage bins made out of recycled tir
Tires have an almost zero recycling value, but I guess there's a slim possibility a bin made out of one could be resold.

Re: Cambodian troops fire on Bangkok Airways plane
If by any chance it happened to pass by Poipet around 07.00pm when the Cambodians said they fired warning shots at two fighter jets – which seems unlikely given the flight times listed on flightstats.com - it would most likely have been at cruising altitude.. which is what? Somewhere between 30,000...

Re: Rats
It's not always a great idea to poison them, as they can die in some cavity and stink the place out for days. There is some new kind of pellet that makes them so thirsty while they are dying that they crawl off looking for water somewhere. Those snap-traps don't seem to work too well, they just set ...

Re: Where to buy those garbage bins made out of recycled tir
Some people seem to have these garbage bins made out of recycled tires... that would be perfect, but I can't seem to find anyone who know where to buy one. Anybody know where? There's a place that makes and sells them along 1986 St, it's on the north side of the street about 100 meters west of the ...

Anyone else tried the snake kebabs near the Golden Lions Sihanoukville? I've eaten these ones the vendors who walk around sell, they are as tough as old boots, you need to carefully tear all the meat off first : http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RzwXnrqCGes/Te95mWKXJKI/AAAAAAAAAKM/J6Am2N8qY80/s1600/snakes....

Yes, they are competing in Athletics, Judo, Swimming and Taekwondo. A Japanese comedian, Neko Hiroshi, who is a naturalized Cambodian was nominated by the National Olympic Committee to represent Cambodia in the marathon but was rejected. I didn't make that up either, ridiculous as it may seem. http:...

One thing I tried, but couldn't manage to eat here is those giant water snails. If anyone abroad feels like recreating this delicacy for themselves at home, try heating up a few of these rubber finger monsters in some hot water, then season them with a pinch of salt. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/71...

Chicken and duck feet can be pretty tasty in a soup, although I did find the idea revolting at first. You just have to pull the skin/meat part off the multiple knuckles with your teeth.
