Yes, I found this out yesterday and have manually corrected all the first page threads. All I had to do was go to 'edit' and then submit. If Sambo can't find a fix, I''ll just have to do that again about 150,000 times.

If you remove the / after .jpg, it should do the trick:edteja wrote:The url is

It works fine when I just locate it with my browser, but when I use submit in the "edit avatar" area it tells me the url is not valid.

I had a look around and while there isn't an official spell check plugin for this forum software, I found one guy who has created one independently. After we get through some of the more urgent issues, we'll test it out.Soi Dog wrote:I agree... spell check would be nice.scoffer wrote:A long time ago you had a spell check, can we have that back ?
Hey Sambo/KIR - well done on getting it all together!
Just a bug in one of the topics on the travel forum - "Medical Insurance - Medical Insurance" - seems that the number of replies etc, and posters doesn't match what is in that topic!
Re: spell check - I have spell check in mine???? ie the red squiggle lines under words, right click and options up - is that my browser??

Good find. We'll add that to the list.chubacca wrote:Just a bug in one of the topics on the travel forum - "Medical Insurance - Medical Insurance" - seems that the number of replies etc, and posters doesn't match what is in that topic!
Yes, that's your browser. The vast majority of modern browsers have spell check built-in. So, adding this plugin would only be beneficial to a small number of users.chubacca wrote:Re: spell check - I have spell check in mine???? ie the red squiggle lines under words, right click and options up - is that my browser??
Soi Dog, scoffer - what browser (including version) are you using?

Are people still seeing this ImageShack frog? I'm not seeing it on my end nor was I when Chuangt2u posted this screenshot.Chuangt2u wrote:
I've registered the khmer440.com domain on ImageShack, which should hopefully fix the problem.

It doesn't appear. I tried several pics and if I don't give the dimensions it always says it is unable to find them. If I give them it says it updated but no avatar appears.
Sometimes it can be tough being a Luddite. (Not to mention annoying to those who aren't).

We threw together some scripts to clean up the database and output the formatting correctly for previous posts. We are currently running these scripts in small batches. You should see more and more threads looking as they should. (The violet/Felgerkarb picture thread seems to be back in all its glory.) The rest should be cleaned up by tomorrow. There will be a small minority of posts which won't be fixed by this (about 2%).Sambo wrote:1) BBCode / smilies not working properly for old posts.
Status: We are working on resolving this one. It has to do with incompatibilities between the old version of the board and this version.
We're going to be doing some scheduled maintenance tonight in order to install some software which will be required for the front page content. This will result in some short periods of downtime.
Let us know if anything seems wonky.
