Yeah, serious! I'll try and take 2 shots of something, one with and one without the bins lens to show a comparison, at some point this week. (Will be busy at work so maybe at the weekend)
Take it easy baby, take it as it comes...
But won't the photo then be 'round'? Or do you cut it square later on the computer?
Beautiful Pics

Yeah, I put the camera into macro mode and hold the bins lens the wrong way round, as in the end that usually faces towards whatever you're viewing with the binoculars, in front of the camera lens. When you first look at the view finder you see a circle, zoom the cam and it focuses through the center of the binocular lens until the circle disappears and you're left with a full frame at a set zoom distance. You then have to move the camera manually backwards and forwards until your subject is in frame, which is where the really steady hand comes in! I just take loads of shots and a couple usually end up OK!SunSan wrote:But won't the photo then be 'round'? Or do you cut it square later on the computer?
I just tried it to experiment really. I know it's a lot easier to just get a better camera with a proper macro lens and that you get better results, but it's not worth it for the amount I'd use it.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.
