I'm a salt water person so Sihanoukville would be my choice over PP. But when I was living in snooky I liked my visits to PP or any other place for that matter when the tide was high all day.
Unique tidal changes at snooky.

Now that both supplies have been crippled, the whole place should nosedive double quick
It won't nosedive. It's going to nose up.

Especially if that includes idiots like Gaudente avoiding the place.SunSan wrote:Angkor and a thousand other temples, jungles, mountains, people, beaches, food.Gaudente wrote:Apart sluts and ganja , what else has Cambo ever offered ?Captain Bonez wrote:what do you actually want? just sluts?

You make some valid points but Cambodian food is horrific. Imagine being surrounded by neighbouring countries with great food, then copying many of their dishes but taking the spice and flavours out of them. Imagine that and you imagine Cambodian cuisine.
What's the matter, Casper? Sihanoukville On-line so dead these days that you decided to come over hear and make trouble? Great minds think alike. LOL!
Actually my plans for this vacation is to spend 6 days in PP and a week in Snooky. The p4p is better in PP by far, I'm actually going to Snooky more for the touristy island-hopping excursions, which I wanted to do last year when I was there. Unfortunately I came down with a cold and ended up spending most of my time chilling at the hotel I stayed at. With 3 days in Bangkok and 10 in Pattaya, I can stand a little time where the mongering is lackluster.

Yeah, what a loss, those spendthrift Pattaya Wise Men who come here for cheap whores and ganja. Don't know how the economy will survive without you. Thailand sure is lucky to have the likes of you polluting their beaches.Gaudente wrote: Sure, the fact I (and thousands of other wise expats) spend and invest my money in Thailand rather than Cambo will greatly boost local economy.
Actually, if you had any clue, you'd know it was the other way round.erictheking wrote:

But I'm not going to be baited again.

Fixed it for you.Captain Bonez wrote:Thai food > Vietnamese food > Cambodian Food > Laotian food
(Thai Food = Cambodian Food*) > Vietnamese Food >> Laotian Food
* = proper Cambodian food, which admittedly is hard to find in Cambodian restaurants

I don't know where you're getting your figures from but your assumption in this case is incorrect.Gaudente wrote:Add the continuous hassle from mototaxis on the roads, peddlers and maimed beggars on the beaches and you bet most people won't come back after their first experience, god forbid consider a permanent move .
I'm involved in the tourism industry in Cambodia and us and others have seen a large increase in return visitors over the last couple of years and if you read some of the Cambodia related forums there are many questions regarding expats interested in moving to Cambodia. (also noticed this topic mentioned a lot on Thai visa).
It is not Thailand. There are pluses and negatives. The p4p sex scene is not as huge or available as it is in Thailand. But besides maybe AC in the PI, where is? If you're after that you are already at the Mecca of it, no need to look or go elsewhere, you'll only be let down after visiting or living in Thailand.
Have to admit I enjoy your hit and run missions to provoke trouble on the Cambodia related forums . Amusing. It's obvious that you're only doing it to provoke a reaction and you're getting a few nibbles. Well done

The sluts have completely disappeared from Cambodia and there's absolutely no weed at all around since the "main man" Happi Hippi got busted. This country is fucked Gaudente, you might as well write it off. That will save your 5 remaining brain cells to concentrate on the best things in life, Pattaya, hookers and condos, yaaay, go for it, you're fucking sorted.Apart sluts and ganja ...Now that both supplies have been crippled
