New Forum Design
We'll be going live tomorrow with the new forum design. Hopefully, everything will run smoothly. However, if there are any issues, please PM me or post in this thread. Cheers!

I've received a few PMs on some minor issues thus far:
- Some avatars are too large for the new design
- The private messaging section has some formatting issues
- The online "flag" which indicates if a user is online should appear over the avatar, not under.
Please keep the comments coming. We'll work on getting these issues sorted out.

curious why u have so much gray space on either side? makes things seem so small now . 3" is alot of wasted space

I would add this suggestion due to its appearance on Firefox 5.01 for Mac:
Within the box for a post, the margins on all sides are uneven. On the top side, there needs to be more breathing space. The "Quote" button and avatar photo top etc. are butting right up against the edge of the post box almost into the gutter. On the right side, the avatar etc. are almost bleeding over into the gutter beside the ads. I also think the avatars are too big for the post box.
I think I would have said much the same for the previous design, although I'm a little bit unsure what has changed under the new design, except for the page top title.
Overall though I like the simplicity.

Nothing wrong with Firefox. K440 forum pages show up same way in Chrome. It's web page layout issue, and not a very serious one.BirdBrain wrote:Your fault. Ditch the junk and get a computer.PenhMan wrote:I would add this suggestion due to its appearance on Firefox 5.01 for Mac:

Agree. The 'reading pane' seems a bit narrow. And the buttons to submit seem too far down.Phuket2006 wrote:curious why u have so much gray space on either side? makes things seem so small now . 3" is alot of wasted space
Otherwise the design looks good, clear and 'cleaned up' sort of.
Just found out that using IE 7 I can't see any posts on any thread?
I can see the forums just fine but opening a thread just results in an white page.
And the weird thing is, when I hit reply I can see all posts under the "post a new reply" field???

I just put the changes for that live now. You will probably need to clear your browser's cache in order to see the result. Here are some instructions on how to do that for the major browsers:Khmeria wrote:the forum still doesn't fill the page
massive amounts of gray on both sides

Please let me know of any issues.

I see the text of posts in a very small font - too small to read without enlarging. Everything else is ok I am using a iPhone2.
