Through inadvertance, I've overstayed my tourist visa by a couple of days. I know taht the overstay fine in Thailand is 1000 Bhat per day, Can anyone tell what the fine per day is for overstaying my visa here in PP.

$5 a day as long as it's only a few weeks. Easily sort-out-able. Fret not. Just go to one of the usual places and explain yourself and they will take care of matters for you. Simple.

You've seen Midnight Express, haven't you? They reserve that sort of treatment in Cambodia specifically for overstayers such as yourself.roderick17 wrote:Through inadvertance, I've overstayed my tourist visa by a couple of days. Seriously, it's 1000 baht per day in Thailand? Yet another reason why I never want to go back there.

Yes, except reports say these days you are tossed into Thai jail for a couple of nights if you overstay longer than 42 days. (Don't know why it's 42 days, unless it's because your stay exceeds the magical maximum fine -- 40 days x 500 bt = 20,000 bt.Phuket2006 wrote:Thailand its 500 baht.day up to Max 20,000 baht.
