Fix my snoring
Fix my snoring
Ok, so they say there's a noticeable change in the human body every seven years. I used to be the quietest sleeper up until about three years ago. It's affecting my pajama and slumber parties. Anyone know of anyone who has had a procedure done in Cambodia to reduce snoring?

sleep on your side, if that doesnt work, sleep with your face in the pillow until you cant breathe anymore
Yes. Just go to the local medicine man and he'll cut some meat out of youyr nose. That'll stop the snoring (and lots of other things, like wind overdose).PRINCE wrote:Ok, so they say there's a noticeable change in the human body every seven years. Tiger Balm is also good.

Funny you should ask; Roomchang Dental Hospital is opening for business tomorrow and it has a new procedure to cure this problem.

DON'T have the nose operation here: hundreds of Khmers go to Vietnam to have it done because of the local mechanics' high failure rate.
Plus, they do it under local anesthetic, like the tonsillectomies. Lovely people.

You're referring to local butchers; Roomchang is the first ISO certified, truly international standard clinic that does the procedure in Cambodia. And it's not a nose operation if you look at my link.

There are some benefits to snoring - I was the one who got the single room in a three-person 2-bedroom golf trip with my mates because they couldn't stand it.
But snoring can be managed with that appliance thingy. On the other hand, schnorring is incurable and a much bigger affliction.

Apparently you shouldn't have any medical procedure done in PP. I started a thread the other day about getting a vasectomy and not only should I not get one, I shouldn't get it in Cambodia. I always figured I had enough common sense to figure things out myself, but apparently there are some alcoholic expat laymen who know better.andyinasia wrote:Please yourself. I know, this blanket assertion that there are no decent medical facilities in the whole country for anything is pretty tiresome. A poster asked for some advice and I offered informed advice. However the internet is really a place for the ignorant to share an equal platform with the informed - who are we to deny them?antifa7 wrote:Apparently you shouldn't have any medical procedure done in PP. Hmmm... to my knowledge snoring being incurable is inaccurate. I think most snorers come to realize that when they were younger they didn't use to snore (myself included). I had to research the cause before I can find the solution.Jacked Camry wrote:There are some benefits to snoring - I was the one who got the single room in a three-person 2-bedroom golf trip with my mates because they couldn't stand it.

In many cases, snoring is due to aging or being overweight. You can help reduce or stop snoring entirely by exercising or you can get one of a number of different procedures done. As people age, the airways including the throat and ceiling of the mouth accumulate tissue growth. When you sleep those excess tissue relaxes and partially blocks the airways. You can take care of the problem by talking to your doctor and get a sleep study done. There's a number of surgical options including removal of tissue by laser and also stiffening the soft palate.
Just wanted to know if these procedures are available in Cambodia. It's done here in the States for about $1,500 with many good results.
