I'd say the main reason was Xenophobia, it certainly is in Aus. and it's something I find incredibly ugly. A fair proportion of my "countrymen" would re-instigate the "White Australia Policy" if given half a chance. That kind of thinking is way uglier then a few guys lounging around drinking beer and smoking at 10am. If that's their lifestyle, they're not long for this World anyway, their health will give out or a helmet-less scooter accident while drunk will see them in an early grave. (One of the reasons I think helmets laws should not be compulsory, it helps culls the idiot's)gavinmac wrote:There's a reason why virtually no other country on earth allows foreigners to stay indefinitely without proof of a job, funds, or income to sustain themselves.
Personally I would rather see immigration visas in other countries liberalised, not tightened. ie Cambodia's polices to be a model adopted in the rest of the World. Why must we constantly have more and more impediments to people being able to go where they want ? Is there not enough restrictions on personal liberty as it is ? Sure, you have the right to be offended but that should be it. I have no care if some twat wants to sit and drink beer all day, aside from being disappointed in supporting them with my tax dollar, if they are, as alleged elsewhere, on the welfare teat. I accept that fact that I will have to tolerate the presence of twat's as the price I pay for my own ability to be here. I see no difference between them and a plethora of others, many on this forum, going out drinking and smoking to excess most evenings a week.

Screw you ad your restrictive polices, I sure hope they are not adopted. I am 46 and retired on my own dime, with reasonable assets back in Aus. and am here with my western partner. I was interested in spending a year or 3 and maybe staring my own business but I would certainly have no proof of employment until then. Until then, my spending of my money is helping prop up the Cambodian economy and keeping severl locals in work.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..

It is absurdly easy for a malicious friend-turned-foe to post transgressive fiction on the net in another's name.
Equally, it is absurdly easy to put messy bogus fingerprints all over the net.
All one needs is someone's e-mail address.
Of course, the ''victim" ought to have enough cautious good sense NOT to go along with the joke.
Enough said.

I've just found it on pirate bay but it looks like some of it may be on youtube.Lucky Lucan wrote:Sok Poupe wrote:
I just watched Cocksucker's Blues the other day. No band in their right mind would allow a crew to film scenes of smoking, sniffing, and shooting up in their entourage these days. Not to mention borderline rape... the Stones allowed it all to be documented (although obviously, it was never officially released).
Where did you get the movie?
