TO answer some of the questions on why this cause and not all the others because there is 100's and 1000's of NGO's and other do gooder originations here fighting all the other causes and all there money and help has seemed to have done nothing Just take a walk on river side where you still see 6 year olds working all night begging and selling books until 11 pm or later.
My cause for about $4 in paint and a brush you see the results it makes the city look nicer and not like some gang land of other country's.
The art "gusone" posted was nice looking in the before shot. But I can understand the building owner has it for lease and is in business to make money. Sure that art would be OK if the new owners was a tattoo shop or smoke house. But if a Christin book store or a day care center was to lease it that art would not be appropriate for that type of business.
What I'm stopping is see photo below. All the other causes there is lots of people fighting that and no one fighting this below. I'm already winning. And I'm not touching the nice art work only gang wannabee tagging crap like below.

This is just wrong....... while you are at it, you should also go over to France and get rid of the 40,000 year old female version........gusone wrote:
ARCHAEOLOGISTS have discovered wall art in southwestern France that could be even older than the famed Chauvet Cave paintings, often considered the earliest of their kind.
And what might the most ancient cave art known to man depict? Female genitalia, the researchers say.
During excavations at Abri Castanet in France's Vezere Valley, a team of archaeologists found engravings on the underside of a massive block. The slab fell from the ceiling of a collapsed rock shelter likely used by reindeer hunters of the Aurignacian era, which lasted from about 40,000 to 28,000 years ago.
Using advanced radiocarbon dating techniques, the researchers determined the etchings could be up to 37,000 years old - making the artwork a few thousand years older than the Chauvet paintings, which scientists believe were created between 30,000 and 32,000 years ago.
The clearest engraving on the Abri Castanet rock shows an abstract oval form very similar to other Aurignacian-era images that have traditionally been interpreted as female sex organs.
"When I saw the image my response was 'Oh my god, a vulva,'" Randall White, a professor of anthropology at NYU who led the study said.
According to White, others have suggested such images could represent animal hoof prints, a natural symbol for hunters.
But the symbolic importance in images of female sex organs is fairly easy to understand.
"One can only imagine how full of mystery the process of giving birth must have been to pre-medical science populations," he said.
The researchers' paper was published online today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (See below).

Abstract
We report here on the 2007 discovery, in perfect archaeological context, of part of the engraved and ocre-stained undersurface of the collapsed rockshelter ceiling from Abri Castanet, Dordogne, France. The decorated surface of the 1.5-t roof-collapse block was in direct contact with the exposed archaeological surface onto which it fell. Because there was no sedimentation between the engraved surface and the archaeological layer upon which it collapsed, it is clear that the Early Aurignacian occupants of the shelter were the authors of the ceiling imagery. This discovery contributes an important dimension to our understanding of the earliest graphic representation in southwestern France, almost all of which was discovered before modern methods of archaeological excavation and analysis. Comparison of the dates for the Castanet ceiling and those directly obtained from the Chauvet paintings reveal that the “vulvar” representations from southwestern France are as old or older than the very different wall images from Chauvet.

I heard that one took 3 days to paint...but the crux of the matter is...well, you nailed it. Rock and roll (the rock) will never die...jm wrote:Here's a good one from a tomb in Roman Jerusalem (in Greek): "Good luck on your resurrection."

I can not understand the pro gangster tagger people on this thread here who look at me like the bad guy for helping keep Cambodia nice. I think some of you have other agendas to make Cambodia look bad and gang infested shit hole like your home country's. If your for this then Cambodia don't need you or your type here.
How can any one be in support of gangster taggers. Yes I'm winning More is being covered up then going up.
Some of you make me sick and you should go back to where you come from if you hate to see Cambodia not get fucked up. It like your saying your in support of rape and murder. "Its just kids expressing them self." Get real !!! This is shit and I'm going to do something about it.
