to reveal a little about myself - I've been here a few weeks and am thinking of getting a teaching job.
I am a slightly unorthodox Christian and would like to bring some joy to the folk of this nation, and felt that a classroom might be a good way of doing this, whilst earning a crumb or two at the same time.
do you think it would be possible , or ethical even to attempt this?
I'm not talking full-on Bible stuff, just a little encouragement about Jesus Christ and his Holy Power.
perhaps a kind of New-Age version that absorbs Buddhism at the same time.
any advice on schools to try?
God in the classroom!

that is a reasonable question, but if I'd read this kind of post on a forum a few years ago then I'd be thinking the same thing.
but that was of course before the epiphany and the realisation.
This joy can come to other people too, if only they are exposed to it.
For sure they can take it or leave it, but some will embrace the Joy to escape the confines of their poverty.

Of course this is a fucking joke!

I think you should be ashamed of yourself.
They are mostly Buddhists so already know what it right and true and you rock up with your evangelism and airy fairy rhetoric boiler plated together from things written goodness knows when by nobody knows who and simply cause devision and trouble.
If you really want to do the right thing, just leave them alone.

take your joy and stick it up your ass. Our kids don't need people like you.toby451 wrote:to reveal a little about myself - I've been here a few weeks and am thinking of getting a teaching job.
