It's like how my family always freaks out if the wall fans are left on for 2 seconds but leaves the 3 units of A/C on (uses 14 times more power per unit) with the door open all day.
Of all the people though, I would think that the Chinese would be the first to say that outdoor air is BAD!!

He said he was the only white guy and I extrapolated from there... however I concede you may have a point..vladimir wrote:Where did he say they were women? Maybe I would have been better saying

Why use the wording " Slanty eyed" ?, what purpose does it serve in your sentence.
It just makes you appear to be racist.
I hope you are not racist as the last thing we want is another new poster with a chip on his shoulder.
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Here is my other pet peeve about working in China. The copier in my office.
I came in the other day and the copier/ printer had a paper jam.
I looked at the print queue and it had been jammed for 14 hours.
I asked my coworkers why they did not clear the paper jam.
Their answer was basically they don't know how to clear a paper jam and they did not want to break the machine so they called the maintenance man. They are afraid of being blamed if something is broken.
I offered to show them how to clear the machine and they said no we just call the maintenance man.
Okay I cleared the print queue then printed my document and then informed my coworkers that I had cleared print queue, cleared the paper jam and printed my documents. Now they could use the copier printer with no problem. One of the Little fucks in my office then complained to me that I had cleared his print job and printed my print job before his job and he thought that was wrong.
You deleted my print job.
Yes
But I was ahead of you
Yes but I fixed the machine.
Yes but I was ahead of you in the print queue.
My thoughts at this point were.
Fccccckkkkkkkkk you you little twat.

The British did a great job of civilizing a large part of the peasant stock over there.
Unlike most of Asia people do queue up....though in influx of mainlanders and their line jumping way have upset the locals.
Reminds me of a taxi incident a bit back.
I hailed a taxi and opened the door turned my back to have my friend get in the taxi and some Chinese lady pushed me aside and tried to get into the back of a taxi. I grabbed her by the back of her shirt and pulled her out of the taxi. She looked at me hacked to big spit at my feet and then walked away.
Fucking cunt.

My favourite one is you're having a conversation about work, and some Khmer guy walks up and just starts his own conversation with your partner.
It can be the cleaner interrupting his barang manager and another Khmer, but the idea seems to be that oh, it's a barang, he/she's insignificant, I'll just talk and he/she can wait.

It's good to see someone living up to their user name so aptly.
Who's to blame if the printer DOES break when they're fixing it?
The British quickly learnt that Asians will queue for top grade opium.jm91 wrote:Lol.. He was from Hong Kong.Mèo Đen wrote:Why were you not extatic. The Yanks misunderstood these imperial tactics by declaring a War On Drugs instead of a War FOR Drugs.
Now nobody fucking queues for anything, bloody Nixon/Reagan....

they understand a queue just fine as long as they're in the front of it.Mèo Đen wrote:Why were you not extatic. After all you had just met the first oriental in history with the concept of the queuejm91 wrote:Here is my other pet peeve about working in China. The copier in my office.

Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard.
