Freshie Boys. I hate them.
The freshy boys drive fast but the tiny young ladies drive insanely at slow speeds. Truck filled with gravel? Fuck you, I'm doing the wavy hand thing, you stop on a dime.
People looked pissed when I tried it though.

I see more ''freshie girls'' since the young guy two doors from me started a ''Cute Karaoke '' rooms . I will have to admit that after he invited me to have a sing song and inspection of the place, he has done a good job. All 10 rooms are fully insulated for sound and seating is in a pink and white coloured upholstery and is air conditioned. Each room has large flat screen tv and karaoke with a big list of English and Khmer songs. Every day loads of freshies turn up on their scoopy's during school hours to do whatever they do in the rooms at $5 per hour, and 90 % are wearing school uniforms.
Some days there are 20 motos parked inside and 10 or more outside.

Some good freshie jaow action this morning in broad daylight on Russian blvd.
The freshie pulled a snatch and grab stunt from a computer store and then ran across two lanes of city bound traffic before hurdling the steel partition and running across two more lanes of airport bound traffic.
As everyone knows, nothing gets Khmers more motivated than a bit of jaow action and he was pursued by an angry mob before the cops intervened and probably saved his life.
The taxi driver's reaction was priceless, a single ''jaow'' was uttered and he ran his finger across his throat.
I am becoming more and more a fan of vigilante justice.

To be fair, Music lessons aren't in the curriculum of the public education system, so he's providing a public service. The parents should thank him.Duncan wrote:I see more ''freshie girls'' since the young guy two doors from me started a ''Cute Karaoke '' rooms . It's not vigilante justice, it's a lack of real justice. When nobody cares, the cops, the government, what do you do? I think they do it because they know these people are the unrepentant, habitual criminals. You can see the same lot over and over again. Of course, I don't paint with a broad brush, but I don't fall for BS either.
There WILL be justice, and it will be for the people, of the people, and by the people. Very democratic, isn't it?
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, or in this case, survive the punishment.
Laws are an ATTEMPT to capture common sense justice. They've since been perverted and neglected. We should be careful not to be caught up in the semantics of the law, the words of the law, rather than the spirit of the law.
Remember, we are our OWN police, we have to take care of ourselves out here. While we shouldn't go overboard, I do believe FEAR is the best deterrent for UNEDUCATED CRIME.
Ever been to the dictatorship of Myanmar? Beautiful people. Wouldnt know how to take advantage of you. The one good thing about a REAL DICTATORSHIP = LAW AND ORDER. Nobody dared steal, it was against his morals.
And Iraq pre-war? No one dared stir up trouble. It was quite peaceful when the big man was around.
It also helps to have a gated community, someone who always stays home, a general as a neighbor, or better yet, renting from one. Don't get paranoid, but don't leave yourself wide-open, either!
Another one bites the dust should be the theme song for that guy ...

The sorry or hypocritical thing is that given half a chance most of the posse/angry mob would steal from their best friend without any compunction if they thought they could get away with it.
Note to self: Must be nice to morons.

Any civil serpent knows that this is the holy mantra.
