Forgive me for lack of knowledge,
but from what i've read in terms of weather stats, July is not a particularly wet month....ie the monsoon season is over by now and its only the odd drizzle here and there? Or am i wrong?

Wow, I was actually hoping to experience a little monsoon action but I guess it could get tiring after the first day. Maybe I don't need to invest in Mount Everest gear afterall.
