Abit disrespectful about the chicks this thread imo.
And can someone tell me what ''psychopaths are hitting the news'' right now ??
Be wary of the ones working in bars i reckon.
They're generally trying to sell something. I once had a girl working in a bar ask me - ''Do you want penis''
Imagine how relieved i was to see a plate of peanuts in her hand.

zenny, why don't you want Phnom Penh girl? Don't like sophisticated girls?
Since you want to marry country girl, i recommend you to go to one (maybe a few) churches in the province or out in the deep forest somewhere. Only marry a God fearing girl if you want a simple life.

the chosen land.
I am Cambodian American as well. I would figure that it would be easy for you to distinguish between the girls that are out for your money and the “good girls.” Have you been to Cambodia before? It sounds to me like your perception of women here is quite dated. Women here do date. Some have boyfriends at a young age and many drink at an even younger age. The ones that don't either can't afford to or are afraid of their parents. The girls in the province are no different. Don’t be fooled by what the elders tell you about “what women are like in Cambodia.” I’ve grown up hearing the same stuff. Actually what they are telling you is what they were like during THEIR time.
There was a guy here who came to Cambodia for the same purpose you did. His relatives fixed him up with a girl in the city. Long story short, he fell in love with her maid instead. When he brought her to the US, she refused to work. She explained that she worked hard all her life already. Why would she marry an overseas guy just to do more housework?
Good luck though. Hopefully, you find someone that makes you happy.

She refused to work as a maid outside the home in the US, or she refused to do housework in the US in her own house? If it's the former, I kind of agree with her, if the latter, it's pretty damn funny. Are they still together?virak wrote: When he brought her to the US, she refused to work. The latter. They're divorced now. Last I've heard, he came back to Cambodia in search of another "good girl."gavinmac wrote:She refused to work as a maid outside the home in the US, or she refused to do housework in the US in her own house? He married a maid, he brought her home, and she refused to do housework? She wanted to hire her own maid? That's pretty good.
That's like the guy marrying a Sophie's girl and then she refuses to . . . oh never mind.

Hmmm...a great business idea - a full colour catalog of "vetted good girls". Oh wait...does that make me a pimp or what?virak wrote:The latter. They're divorced now. I love fish and chips with vinegar in newspaper!!!
Appreciate your input. Yes, I've been to Cambodia at least 4 times now; going to be my 5th. The other 3 times, I had no motive in trying to find that special someone.virak wrote:Have you been to Cambodia before?
I hear what you're saying. Sure, in PP I'm sure most of the girls are caught up in western views, so you may find less "good girls". I'm well aware some/most have boyfriends. I guess I prefer someone who is a bit more old-fashioned; I know, a bit odd of me =) . Out in the countryside you do find more of them.virak wrote:It sounds to me like your perception of women here is quite dated. Women here do date. This brings me to a story a couple years ago in Battambang...went out with a few cousins (one was also local Khmer who brought a couple friends). There was a girl in the group in particular whom my cousin buttered up, and shagged in the bathroom while we were karoak'ing (no she was not a Karaoke or bar girl). Obviously, she was not a "good girl". He sure paid for it because she was annoying as hell & nagged constantly afterwards whenever we all hung out as a group; got emotional and kept saying "why doesn't he love me anymore!?".
LoL - I'd be open to a PP girl, but I don't have any extended family here to setup any introductions. I'm usually not in PP long because I leave fairly quickly to go out to either Battambang or the provinces.Master Donut Baker wrote:zenny, why don't you want Phnom Penh girl? Hell, if I'd be there longer than a day, I wouldn't mind saying hello and having a beer with any of the K440 members at least check out some of the bars K440 members frequent.

on a side note... quite a few psychopaths (hitting the news) had exceptionally unattractive women, while themselves really good looking...
at first glance this seems weird, surprising, as there comes also a lot of narcissim with psychopathy... and one would assume, they are rather looking for attractive show-offs at their side...
but - the game is a different one... its about control and domination... some little attractive (women) would do EVERYTHING for that attractive male... in addition, the psychopath knows how to manipulate, and when this is easy, they have reached the goal...
they show that women so much attention, they brush up so much their self-confidence, that - at the end of the day - they are wax in the hands of the psycho...
Controlling and insecure would seem more appropriate than psycho. I would imagine that a psychopath wouldn't think twice about asphyxiating the same person they're manipulating...then moving on to the next one. That would seem Psycophatic.

I would say this applies more to thai women where sexual revolution happened 10 years ago.virak wrote:I am Cambodian American as well. In Cambodia it's still only begining so a few are as you describe. However, even in the cities, most women are fearsome of the finger pointing and will only date with a chaperon and not agree to get laid before the wedding.
yes, its indeed easy... but i think its impossible for males...virak wrote:I would figure that it would be easy for you to distinguish between the girls that are out for your money and the “good girls.”
and thats probably mostly, because men never want to know the truth... (if its different from what they wish)
lol... "sexual revolution" in thailand... ahahahaha....Barang_doa_slae wrote:I would say this applies more to thai women where sexual revolution happened 10 years ago.virak wrote:I am Cambodian American as well. dont believe every shit they want to believe you...
the only thing that happened in thailand is, that in the beginning it were the poor girls - only...
but then, they would build (and acquire) the big houses, the big money and the big cars and and and...
then the women from richer families chimed in...
i dont think, that a thai(asian) women inherits equally with her brothers...
perhaps, she gets an arse kick and thats it...
there has never been a "sexual revolution"...
you may rather call it the "atm awakening"...
