Woowww
A highlander that can pass for an Ozzie or a Kiwi.
Divulges his true identity.
Is set free by those he has stole from.
Has a tab of approximately $500 in SHV not to mention south east Asia.
Passport held by police.
F%#k this guy is good!
Or is there more to the story, waiting for the final chapters?
Throw in some drugs & would make a Hollywood block buster!
He does look like a Jeremy though

Not quite so easy to define. It's a complicated anthropological area.Petrol Head wrote:Is it fair to say that a Ned is the urban version and the schemie and/or teuchter is the rural version?
A schemie comes from a housing scheme (social (?) housing, if you will - council estate) so is an urban dweller. He tends to like to smoke heroin and drink Buckfast and or QC sherry and Tennents Super - calls it the purple tin. Needs to do a lot of thieving to maintain this lifestyle.
A teuchter is from a rural area, usually on the east coast. Increasingly likes to smoke heroin but more likely to drink Tennents Super than Buckfast. Probably has a job in agriculture.
A Ned could be either, so long as he is both violent and stupid.
It's an academic tightrope.

Saw him last night on street 5 near Domino about 2330 hrs.. He came up to me and asked if I spoke English...I said no in my best Italian accent. He was looking rough and had on a watch cap...in this fucking heat.

I had to Google 'watch cap'. I'll save the effort for others who don't know ... a beanie.

Gentlemen, I'm thinking of putting £1.50 behind a bar somewhere in Phnom Penh in gratitude for your contributions. I'm only thinking about it, it's a big decision.

Would it be correct to label Strother as 'a wee radge' ?

Just buy her a beanie and stop messing around.
That would be fair, I think.keeping_it_riel wrote:Would it be correct to label Strother as 'a wee radge' ?

About the same number who have been successfully sued by another barang full stop. You still provide legal coaching btw?BURLESQUE@SDHHOTEL wrote:Exactly. Here's an exhaustive list of all the westerners that have been successfully sued for libel in Cambodia for unsubstantiated claims made on Internet forums:johnnyj wrote:
but I take it people have proof of the allegations? only reason being Cambodia has some pretty tough libel laws...
