Fantasy Premier League 2014/15 Season
Almost behind the leader by 100 points - it's reaching that part of the season for a team full of 'differentiators' and panic buys!!
Barely kept my head above the average score this week, three players out injured - glad I got my captain right (Berahino instead of Costa/Aguero), although gutted I disregarded Eto'o so easily. Also likely to have a problem with Mannone next week, that's a transfer I could do without, hopefully Krul & the Toon will come to the rescue.

Yeah a very good score in a difficult week.rl66 wrote:A superb score of 84 by the league leader - 699 worldwide, well played that man.

48 points for me - so-so. I maintain I got shafted over Ivanovic - he got sent off when the score was 1-0 so he shoulda got the cleanie points in my book.
Really fancy getting Sanchez but can't afford him - unless I ditch DiM. One to consider for the future.

He'll play - be in NO doubt. Unless JM holds him back to deny Spain getting hold of him for the International break - he clearly needs 2 or 3 weeks off. QPR are playing ok at the moment though so the game may not be the "gimmee" it first appeared to be. Chels have a number of mids who can support the old boy up top anyway - Haz, Shurl to name but two.... time will tell and Fantasy Scout will be alive this week with the usual speculation and trolling!!!

699 worldwide = quality
Costa to play against QPR? I highly doubt it.Chelsea to play a false 9 or the Drog with no chance of Costa going away with Spain. I will be shocked if he plays. QPR beat a poor Vila side and conceded 3 goals to Liverpool. I got rid a week ago.

Thanks for all the praise on my latest gameweek score. I have had Costa captain and Sanchez VC for the last 2 wks. My thinking was Costa either starts or plays 0 mins, therefore you're pretty much guaranteed two bites of the cherry. I'm currently 870 in the world going into gameweek 10 so squeeky bum time has started 6 months earlier than expected! Think I'll be holding off any transfers for the next couple of weeks and assess the lay of the land (also work out a way to squeeze in Aguero!). Just read in the Phnom Penh Post today that I won their weekly $20 prize too. Shame I'm not on Cellcard.
I reckon Sterling might have a big game up at St James this weekend as Newcastle will be pretty tired after the energy they're currently exerting in the league cup against City.

I'm hopeful for Sterling too, but he's due a price drop any moment now as hordes sell him off. Can't understand why - is he due to be rested, or are people losing faith in Balotelli's ability to convert? Or maybe it's the only way people can get Sanchez in.

Don't expect Costa to start this weekend. Drogba has been doing the biz and Mourinho loves him.
Might get 20 mins off the bench if he can play at all.
Rambo and Walcott will be stealing the limelight from Sanchez soon enough too.

My transfer hand's being forced a bit with Mannone looking uncertain now and I only select one playable squad goalie. Was thinking of the Hull 3rd choice temporarily to add some funds to the biscuit tin for investment midfield/upfront. I feel some Arsenal representation is required again, haven't watched them recently but surely Wellbeck has to start hitting the back of the net or is he really crap ? Wellbeck for Ulloa is an option, but again Leicester must be due to score soon. Sanchez would mean sacrificing Di Maria or Fabregas and that's a tough call.

There's a very strong possibility that Arse and Chelsea will run riot this weekend.
Your transfers should prioritise those boys.
Get rid of Ulloa immediately. Welbeck is fantastic value for money.

This from this morning's DT - penultimate paragrapgh is the usual "smoke and mirrors" from JM. "...will be fit..." doesnt mean he will play any part gainst QPR - he has to keep the Spaniards at bay for the forthcoming Internationals!!

To Eto'o or not to Eto'o, that is the question.
Whether 'tis Noble in the mind to suffer (and God as a West Ham fan he makes me suffer ...)
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Quinton Fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of Chelsea's Rubles,
Eto'o allows me to double dip & get Sanchez in this week. It means Lukaku is going to get the lone striker role doesn't it. I (again), hate this game.

My Friday sundowner transfer decision is gradually being clouded by the imbibing of frozen margheritas. At this rate Balotelli's in with a chance.
