These posts by alifeapart and rice cakes about KIR seem in poor taste. I wonder why they save this up for when the man is gone and can't speak up for himself? Never met him but he seemed like he had some balls on him. More praps than can be said for others.
He didn't have balls, he had bus tickets, and that in more than one situation... but agreed that's in poor taste and shouldn't speak ill of the dead.

Agree mostly, but KiR didn't really allow criticism of him on 440, quick road to a banning. I suppose people will then speak up when they can.Just Robbed wrote:These posts by alifeapart and rice cakes about KIR seem in poor taste. Everybody has their own reasons man. For example I haven't been back to my country in 2 years perhaps some people find Cambodia to be their second home or a place where they can identify with.scobienz wrote:The recent / pending departure of a couple of well regarded long-term expats like MM and jm got me thinking about quite a few expats i bump into who tell me they have never returned to their home country - even for a short visit - for many years since they first arrived. I met one last night who proudly proclaimed he hadn't been back to Australia (where else?) in the 12 years since he left, despite having friends and family there. Is this normal? How often do you go home?
I can't help finding it a bit odd. Am I being cynical when my auto-reflex is to think that they are possibly staying away for some nefarious reason?
What a crock of poo.gavinmac wrote:KiR killed someone?
Alifeapart, you are a cunt and I adjure you to kill yourself.
If you do, it's all my fault.
