I think I remember Rama had a semi auto Yamaha with a bit more poke than the average scooter. I think it was 135cc. I always thought that would be the ideal bike for PP.

Yup. And something real common so repairs and parts are easy.LexusSchmexus wrote:Any 100-110cc semi-auto bike or 200-250cc dirtbike. Lower ccs don't have enough power to overtake and anything bigger tends to have too big of a turning radius.
I still miss my Supercub 90. That was a great bike. At the time it was bigger than most but these days maybe too small, but still, great bike. Impossible to kill. Could be repaired anywhere, and cheap.

Thats kind of where i'm at now, 90cc a little too small, 250cc dirtbike little too big for day to day rush hour traffics,LTO wrote:Yup. Honda Wave or Dream. Minsk if you want to smoke everyone up, it also has the added advantages that no one wants to steal it and the cops can't be bothered impounding it.

Minsks are notoriously unreliable and I'm pretty sure parts would be hard to come by here. Under most circumstances, an FTR/average small cc dirtbike is just as nimble as a scooter if you know how to ride. Some of the full autos aren't bad either (Airblade), but it takes some getting used to because of the lack of engine compression.

I'm really liking my big long Honda Forza 250A maxi-scooter very comfortable and just twist and go ABS disc brakes and plenty of power.

Honda Sh150i . Best I have owned . 150 cc engine , complete auto, gas saver, big wheels , great shocks, looks great cheaper to tax as they didn't know it at tax office so gave me a cheaper rate. And so much fun... A bit hard to find a 2014 or 2015 but they are out there for around 2500. I got mine off this site for 1700 ...
